came timely, and I love this movie

So happy to finally replace my VHS copy of Sneakers with this Blu-ray copy. Working on updating all of my favorites now that my VHS player is no more.

I'm a Robert Redford fan who never saw this movie. For some reason the story never seemed to appeal to me. I was wrong.The story is basically this, some scientist has a little black box that can decode anything and every country in the world is after it. Redford and his crew are hired by companies to find the security holes and plug them. They are hired by the NSA to steal the box so that no other country can have it. They find out soon enough never trust anybody. The movie has plenty of action, tension %26 espionage, twists and turns. It's a little over 2 hours which I thought might be a little long but in reality the movie went by in no time. There's really no wasted space in this movie. All of the actors are excellent, filmed beautifully in San Francisco, Oakland, %26 Universal studios.and plenty of tension throughout to keep you very interested. The Blu-ray picture is excellent as is the sound %26 there are subtitles. There's a making of feature and Commentary by the Writer/Director. For under $9 on Walmart it's well worth getting.
