I had a fast efi system and nothing but problems with it for 3 years it died and left me on the side of the road so I was done. I got the sniper set up way easier to install and runs perfect right at the start I would definitely say this is the one to buy if you are looking for one.
Well... I thought I'd build a sbc 350. Put stock vortec heads on it b/c they flow better and have center bolt holes like my 305 had so I could just order a long block and everything would swap...ordered an intake because I didn't want to put a tbi back on it and started with a street demon carb because they claim to be so good and it had a bolt on tps... well that review is on its own product page... point is I got the Sniper in the end b/c of the timing control and it seemed more refined than other bolt on tbi/efi systems and i apparantly suck at carbs. Hooked it up no problem. Wired it up no problem. Fired it up after having to update its internal software for the hyperspark stuff. It ran fine and hasn't given me any issues yet. I really like the handheld it has way more options than you can see in the manual. Issues: (Not nec holleys fault) The one sided style throttle brackets that bolt to the top of throttle body hit the throttle linkage and won't work so I bought a square carb plate style chrome one that mounts under the throttle body for 20bucks instead of the 60something I wasted for the other one. But you'll have stuff like that when doing custom stuff. Also had to buy a remote mount tps for the Trans because it says not to piggyback it. AccuLink has one that bolts to the rear carb bolt and hooks to the Trans kick down on the throttle linkage with an adjustable bar. It accepts old factory gm tps plug too...just in case you have an electronic trans.... It's been on and running for 5days and it fires right up everytime. Learns more everytime I drive it. BUT the lie is the venturi(s) are in a circle above the throttle plates not below like they say. You can watch videos of them. The gas comes out and puddles on top of the throttle plates while idling. Not much and maybe it's designed to work better that way but you Def smell gas all the time like any old carb.
