Snow Joe 24V-X4-SB24 96-Volt MAX IONMAX Cordless Brushless Self-Propelled Dual-Stage Snow Blower, 24-inch, Kit (w/ 4 x 12.0-Ah Batteries + 2 x Dual Port Chargers)

Some confusion with w/Walmart %26 Paypal is STILL ongoing regarding the continuing debit of 1 of my accounts even though the snowblower was paid for in full by another bank account. That being said, the snowblower arrived 4 days early, was packed thoroughly in a heavy-duty cardboard box, wood bottom platform, and tied down on a wooden pallet. Unpacking was simple, instructions for assembly were complete %26 understandable by a normal human, and all parts were packed separately. Assembly was straightforward and took 30 minutes. Batteries (4) charging took 6 hours. Testing augur rotation, self-propelled speeds forward and reverse, 6 LED headlights all went perfectly. This Snow Joe Snowblower is a BEAST!

Never could get two batteries to charge talked to company several times about replacement batteries but to this day 12/12/24 they have not replaced batteries but sent new charger which didn't work either. So I spent nearly $600 for something I haven't even been able to start. It's been awhile since I ordered in Feb 2024

Drive stopped propelling the unit after ten minutes of use on flat ground/light snow. Opened the back to see the flimsy design at the root of it all. Also, no sheets pins available and you void the warranty if you don't use their sheet pins. When it throws snow, it does work.

Arrived yesterday went to charge the batteries one battery will not charge. Called SnowJoe they will put me on an email list to be notified when a battery becomes available. Customer service stated could be 6-12 weeks . Just intime for summer....maybe. but once I get the email I have to call them send a copy of my receipt give them a reference number then they will send a replacement hopefully. They also said I could send the entire unit back but I would be responsible to pack it up and get it to a trucking company. How can I fit a pallet in my Toyota. Very poor customer service. Why not take a battery out of another snowblower to satisfy a customer.

Junk product. Batteries are terrible. Tried to get warranty on them and suprise the batteries are out of stock due to high demand. I wonder why. I used the snow blower two times this year and worked great when it ran, but now the batteries are discharged. Unit is less than two months old.

1st order was canceled for no apparent reason. Cust. service couldn't figure out why. 2nd order finally arrived. Box damaged, fork lift went through the box instead of the pallet, but couldn't tell if it damaged the blower. Put snowblower together and figured out that only 3 of the 4 batteries worked. Snow Joe can't help because it's a Walmart issue. Walmart can't replace the defective battery because they don't carry it. The battery is and has been out of stock everywhere for quite some time. No one knows when or if it will be available. Machine is not usable without all 4 batteries. I wasn't offered a replacement battery or machine. They sent a freight co. to pick it up. After a week I still hadn't received credit so contacted Walmart again and there was no refund initiated. I was finally able to get someone who started the refund process. We shall see when that is completed. A very frustrating and disappointing experience

Bought this item as I was tired of dealing with my gas snowblower. I received the item with one of the four batteries defective which made the snowblower not work. Contacted the manufacturer to get a replacement battery on warranty. Back ordered with no eta for it to come back in stock. The told me to contact seller to try and get a replacement battery. The seller said that they would need to pick up the whole machine and send a new one out. Eventually after waiting several hours on hold. Approximately 4 hours, I got a representative to refund me the purchase price of a new battery through amazon. Amazon only had one battery in stock on their website. I used it yesterday for the first time and it seemed to do a decent job, however the real test will be when we get a good snow storm. It did go through easily the mound that the town does at the end of the driveway, but it was only about 6 inches.

Two of the four batteries have shorted out so far. not sure if the machine is doing it or the batteries are just bad. When it did work, it was a really good snowblower. Snow Joe is currently out of stok on batteries so I can't get them replaced.

One battery was DOA. They had no batteries in stock and no idea when they would get more. Sent it right back to Walmart! It's also very smaller that I thought it would be. Idk if it's worth it if you have more than a 2-3 car area to do.

When I received the snowblower, one of the four batteries was defective. When I ask for a replacement, I was referred to Snow Joe. They told me it was probably not the battery, but the charger. They sent me another charger. Same problem, the battery. Snow Joe stated that they had no batteries in stock and would put me on a list. That was over 2 months ago. I told them I would just return the unit with the batteries they originally sent. Snow Joe was willing to take the snowblower back, however, they would not refund my money. They only offered to give me a store credit. Why would I want more products that they couldn't support. Batteries are basic needs. If you can't support those, I had no confidence that they would be able to support anything else they sell. I'm still fighting with them to make things right. I don't recall reading anything in the shopping process that stated that you can not get your money back if no satisfied. I will never again purchase a Snow Joe product.
