Snow Joe 96V 21-inch Brushless Single-Stage Cordless Snow Blower, 4 x 12.0-Ah Batteries & 2 x Chargers

We get huge snowstorms in Truckee, CA. We have a top of the line Honda, but wanted something for the deck and smaller areas. See photos below of clearing the deck on one battery charge. Would chop down the height, but still had a huge volume of snow that had to be thrown up and over the snow wall to clear off the deck. The SnowJoe 100V is starting to replace the Honda as is so much easier to manage. We bought a second SnowJoe to do all of the work at our Reno home. Electric is the way to go!

I love this snow blower it pulls it self my neighbors have stopped to see it I get off work around 1 in the morning and can use it I even do my neighbors I'm so glad I have it I can't say enough

Fantastic machine. My fist time using it was for 9 inches of snow. I made one pass in more power mode and it blew the snow onto my neighbors garage roof. Oops.

Hits all the notes for me: light, easy to handle, quite, no-fumes, doesn't need to be "started". I expect lower maintenance issues - electric is so much simpler than gas. The street plow made an 18"+ pile at the end of the driveway. By shaving off snow from one side I move the whole lot without any stress. The battery lasted 30 minutes as advertised and recharged in 100 mins.

I haven't had a chance to use the snow blower yet, however, it took 3 minutes to set up & I can say that the ease of operation is outstanding. Every option on this unit is battery operated to include; LED headlights, snow thrower direction shoot, and the auger speed. So far I am 100% satisfied. I can't wait til it snows so I can use it! Capability review to follow, once it snows here in Michigan.

As this being our first battery operated snow thrower I was excited to try it even though the $800 price tag is a bit steep but probably will drop as time goes by; like in the spring or summer. Having said that our first experience was with about 6" of powdery snow. It worked great except for one thing. The remotely activated rotating chute almost always got stuck about 3/4's of the way around. I needed to back up and then move it onwards once again. Very annoying. This happened regardless of any snow build up on the deck of the snowblower. Perhaps it needs rollers, ballbearings or some WD40. As I am not an engineer I have not tried to solve this issue. The single 100v battery more than handled our 2 car wide, 2.5 car long driveway and short front walk to the front door. The second, and hopefully our last, snow fall was maybe 3" of VERY heavy snow. The snowblower wasn't able to throw the snow as far but did an adequate job nonetheless. The scraper did a good job of clearly snow down to the pavement even if I had to backup a bit and go over a missed spot. I always operated the snowblower on the highest speed setting even though I did play around with a lower setting intermittently just to see how it worked. I wish a second battery wasn't $300.

Only got to test this twice so far this winter, but so far so good. I live in Minnesota and have a 3 stall two car deep driveway plus a sidewalk to clear. First snow was about 6 inches with lots of drifts as it was fairly windy. It was very cold so the snow was pretty solid. I cleared everything with this little beast in under 20 minutes as there was plenty of power. Did it at night, so the lights were helpful to have. Afterwards, I still had 3 out of 4 bars left on the battery - so plenty of charge to help clear neighbors sidewalks, etc. I did have to back up and go over some of the higher drifts a second time occasionally, but that didn't really slow me down. It also handled the thick stuff from the street plow at the end of the driveway, which I was very pleased about. I'm still waiting to test it on a nice wet, heavy snow to see how it does, but I'm very happy with the purchase so far. No fuss with the battery compared to a gas machine. Much quieter as well.

Despite the $800 price, this is a low quality product with lousy customer service. Two of the four lithium batteries delivered would not take a charge. Snow Joe Customer Service slow rolled their response to my request for replacements and refused to replace them without first sending me two new chargers even though the two that were delivered with the snow blower functioned fine. When the new chargers didn't also couldn't charge the bad batteries they promised to send me 2 new replacements. What they sent were obviously refurbished or previously used batteries that were scuffed up and in bad shape and they also were dead and would not charge. Obviously had not been checked for quality before they were sent to me. The time between the delivery of the defective snowblower and finally sending me replacement batteries that didn't work was 3 weeks of the worst snow and freezing weather we have had in decades so I was shoveling, not snow blowing. Do not buy Snow Joe products, they are poor quality and have terrible customer service.

Batteries never work charger never work goin on 3 weeks n still don't have the thing working properly don't buy snow Joe

Bought the brand new unit. Opened the packaged and charged the batteries the night before a snow storm. Turns out one battery is faulty, so the unit will not function. Called Snowjoe and a replacement battery is out of stock and it is outside of the 30 day return policy.
