Very powerful

greg968 December 15, 2017

I bought this cordless blower to simply dust off light snow from my patio and deck. To my surprise this little guy packs a big punch! I’m using it now also for the drive and 80 ft. long sidewalk with snow up to 2-3 inches. Plenty of charge from the battery. I challenged it with a 5 1/2 inch snow fall the other day; it handled the patio and deck with no problems but after 1 or 2 passes in the drive the machine started to shut off. I guess the battery was wearing down. The toggle controlled chute control is a necessity. The LED light is a convenience for those after dark snow cleanups. I keep the blower outside with the battery in the charger inside. The blue plastic body sheds ice and snow easily looks cool. Nice machine!

A great snow removal machine ! ! !

Gamefacelouie February 9, 2019

The Snow Joe has worked very well, on Saturday I was able to clear about 3" of snow from 300' of neighborhood sidewalk, my asphalt driveway (45' x 10'), my wood deck (15' x 10') and interlocking stone patio (15' x 15') and still had 1/3 battery left. The only problem I was having while doing the sidewalk was the scraper bar would get stuck on some of the concrete control joints, it would be great if there were a way to adjust this, raise it up 3/8" or so. It snowed more overnight so Sunday I had 6" of snow to clear from my driveway, deck and patio (one of the neighbors took on the sidewalk). It was a little tougher going, I wasn't able to throw the snow as far since it was very windy and I had to keep the chute low otherwise it would just blow back at me. The following Tuesday we had another storm, about 6" worth. While I was at work one of the neighbours cleared my driveway and sidewalk. My son had been working out of town so I headed over to his place the next day to clear his driveway, the Snow Joe fit easily with the handle down in the back of my Honda CRV. His driveway is larger than mine (75' x 15') and had some drifting (8 to 10 inches). I was able to clear it in about 45 minutes just as the battery was giving out. I did not attempt the drift left at the road by the snowplow as there were layers of ice in it. So far the Snow Joe has worked great on dry mainly undisturbed snow, I haven't had a chance to try it on any wet packed down stuff yet.

I was very surprised that the Snow Joe can remove as much snow as it does. It does a great job.

Worked well!

EMTMOM2 December 19, 2016

The first snow I was able to use this in was a bit wet and heavy. That being said I made my first pass by pushing a bit harder. After that I did 1/2 the width of the snowblower for each pass. I still was done with all the walks in under and hour. I live in a big duplex and clear the walks on 3 sides of the house, as well as the sidewalk in front of the garage. (which has a 3 bedroom apt above it) As well as clearing close to the house out back so the plow guy could do the driveway. Ran almost an hour on the one battery charge! I did not use the light at all, so that may be why the battery lasted so long.

Good machine

wilspascal February 8, 2021

The machine is actually easy to assemble and to use. The battery stays in place and does not turn off compared to other brands that I previously I had that situation. I do need to recharge because it does runs out before I finish the work. I guess it depends the thickness of the snow. If the snow is not too heavy , I am able to finish without the snow running out. Well, it is definitely better than shoveling snow, last time I did that my entire body hurst but this is a good way to clean the snow if you live alone . So far I am actually enjoy this way.

Works well

DogLoverto4goldens December 30, 2016

This snowblower works pretty well. It clears the path well but the snow doesn't shoot as far as I would like. It had no problem in about four inches of snow. The wetter the snow is the shorter distance it shoots. I never ran out of power with the battery. I was able to do a two car driveway and sidewalk all the way around my house.

I noticed scratches as soon as I took it out of the box. I called about the safety key that was missing and the other damages i found on the unit. They then explained to me that these are refurbished and i had only a 90 day warranty on my purchase. Where does it say that on this listing? I did still give 3 stars only because im not 100% sure if I will have any more issues with it before the first snow hits but I definitely took off 2 stars for this misleading description of an already used item.
