I have only used the snow joe a few times but I am very satisfied with it so far. Light weight and easy to operate. Removes 5 inches of snow easily . It shuts off when I hit into a snow bank but starts right up again when I back it up. Seems reasonable.
This snow blower works better than I anticipated. The batteries last longer than needed for the job which is a sizeable driveway. It went through a 6 inch snowfall with no problem.
good price. operates great easy to use
Disabled son ( high functioning) did great job! Only used once but more snow more use
one battery was defective and would not take a full charge. I asked vendor to exchange battery and they insisted i had to return the entire unit and they would then send a replacement only upon receipt. easier just to return and go to another supplier
No wonder the delivery guy unloaded it and carried it to my front door like it was nothing — the snowblower is cheaply made! Even the wheels are made out of cheap plastic. It looks more like a toy than an actual machine. I tried using it, and it didn't work at all. Not for Massachusetts snow, anyway. Very disappointed.
When I ordered, got notification that it would arrive in 3 days, even gave date of arrival. Date arrived and received message "your order has been delayed." Three weeks later I received this item. It appeared the box had been opened and then resealed, although all parts were neatly packed and nothing was missing. Put it together easily enough. Opened plastic top to put battery in and --- spring on one side is broken. Back it went after waiting 3 weeks for it. Tried to call Snow Joe as this was on sale and I wanted a replacement. It appears their customer service is closed for the season ..... no one ever answered beyond the usual, typical mechanical answer you get nowadays. Tried several times, between 3 different days. Decided not to go with a product that does not offer decent customer service. Went with another brand, got it in 2 days. Just waiting for it to snow to try it out. I would not recommend this product based on their extremely poor customer service and the fact that I truly believe this item had already been returned and was just resealed and sent to me.
The battery got stuck and hard to remove. I got a friend to remove the battery and tried using it again and it would not work! I returned it and reordered it hoping I just got a defective item! I am waiting on the other one to arrive and a little nervous about having the same issue!
I did a thorough review of this equipment, then purchased it. The Specifications online stated that it's a 3 stage model. When it arrived, the box and instructions state that it's a one stage model. One stage will not be helpful to me. Unfortunately I had to return it.
WARNING! This product is complete Garbage. If I could... I would rate it with NEGATIVE stars. Brand new out of box it is defective. Batteries that came with it do NOT fit in the battery slots. You might need to use a power tool to grind down the exterior case of the battery so that it will fit. But I don't really know if that is safe. Both of my batteries got stuck when I inserted them. Yes I did press the buttons on battery to unlock them. But it doesn't matter. They are stuck. This design is TERRIBLE. I used a screwdriver to pry one of the batteries out. But it wasn't easy. I attempted to do the same with the other battery. But the battery compartment broke. This product is a complete waste of money After getting frustrated and exhausted with this pile of garbage, I pulled out my old snow shovel and did the snow shoveling manually. I got ripped off!!!
