Sodastream, Blue CO2 Cylinder Exchange, 60L

I have tried before to order the exchange cartridges, but I would always in the past receive a notification after the order that the product was not available. It always showed up on the site as available at my rural superstore. Finally, this time that did not happen. They had the exchange, and the site-to-store clerk knew what they were and how to handle it. Now, I can save half the price on the cartridges because I no longer need to buy spares. I marked durability as good because I have yet to get a cartridge to last for more than 40 liters (rather than closer to 60) even using the low carbonation settings.

Even though Soda Stream has come up with another style CO2 tank, Walmart still carries the first style which hasn't always been easy to find. Thank you, Walmart, for also continuing the exchange program which we can bring in our empty tanks and get new ones at a discounted price.

Other than this was our first time getting a replacement co2. Make sure the replacement is in a box and is sealed. I ordered online and went to pick up, I was given someone else's empty co2 in exchange. Needless to say I had to return it again but this time went into store and picked the replacement off the shelf. We love drinking flavored carbonated water and juices. Very handy to have in a pinch.

I have used the exchange system three times now over the past 6 weeks or so. It is a great option for the environment as well as for my wallet. The last time I did the exchange, I got a "full" sealed container. Normally each container lasts about 2 weeks. The last one only lasted for 1 week. I did not use it any more than normal. I'm not sure if there was a leak somewhere that I just couldn't detect or if the container was not filled properly. I exchanged that one and have another so I started keeping track of the number of liters I am making to be sure it's lasting like it should. Other than that one little glitch I have been very satisfied with the exchanges.

Works great. B sure when you purchase these they are sealed and have not been used. My last purchase the bottles did not have the plastic rip off seal and both canisters were empty

if your item is missing the green removable safety seal (not the green cap, but the tamper seal), don't accept the item. it could be a used one, a defective one, or an empty one. Sometimes the clerks don't know this.

the first carbonator tank was good and the soda tasted great but the next tank I bought the soda had an oily taste to it. I can not explain how this happened but I can tell the taste was very different.

Ordered the product online, picked it up at customer service, brought it home - empty. There was nothing in the bottle. Very frustrating. You'd think that someone who handles these things on a daily basis would notice that it felt light (I had never replaced the CO2 before so I didn't have a reference)

The canister did not have any CO2 in it, so I didn't get a single bottle of soda from it. I don't know if they gave me someone else's exchange or if it was faulty merchandise, but my first carbonator exchange experience was not a good one.
