This is just as you'd expect. It's the name brand, soft T tourniquet. It functions as it should, and arrived quickly.

While I haven't had to use this tourniquet in a real-world emergency situation yet, you can tell right out of the package that it is high quality and built to last. ​The materials feel rugged and reliable, from the heavy-duty webbing to the sturdy windlass mechanism. Everything feels deliberate and well-constructed, giving me full confidence that if a critical situation ever arises, this kit will function exactly as intended without failing under pressure. ​It is one of those pieces of safety gear you hope you never actually have to deploy, but having it stored in my kit or vehicle offers tremendous peace of mind. I am grateful to have it on hand and ready to go just in case. High quality, reliable construction, and essential for any prepared emergency setup.

Good for training, but not real life

With the marketing and limited detail in the picture I didn't understand the construction and materials in this product until I received it, and would not recommend it as with deep experience as a Firefighter/EMT and Search %26 Rescue first responder. The metal brackets allow the strap to loosen and the tightener is not comparable to other products I rely on. This product is better than no tourniquet however if it was my life I would want a better tourniquet that when it goes on stays as I pull the strap, and the tightener works with less effort and a better hold.
