I have been using magic powder for over 40 years. Started with the blue and changed to the gold because of the smell. I have been using the gold for about 25 years and it is easy to use and I get the best non-bump shaves imaginable. The only problem I have now is availability. It is in short supply everywhere I shop. I hope this is only temporary.

I know it says it's for men but there are millions of women everywhere who use this and it works great! You can find the proof all over the internet on places like tic toc or YouTube. Just to name a couple. I wish there was an actual female line of this product with a feminine smell. This product works better than anything else I've tried and women are just going to keep using it anyway. So please come out with a female line of this!

Excellent product. I've used it all of my adult life (father and older brother used it too). Gentle on my skin and the smoothness is there days. The only time I've ever any issues is with what seems to be batch consistency. I am no expert, but some cans mix well, others take longer for the water to “take.” They still perform great; just takes a little longer to mix. Tell me, Magic Shave, was there a formula change at one point? Inquiring minds would love to know : )

I have been using this product for over 17 years now and I don't know what I will do without it. My skin is not razor friendly and over the years, I have been relying on this product. But it looks like all the stores in my area are out of stock due to the lock down/pandemic. Hopefully, you guys can let me purchase directly from your company!!

I've been using this product for over 40 years. I started with the original Red can. Switched later to the Black/Gold because of the better fragrance. It's not as effective as the Red can, however, it gets the job done. I used it the entire time I was in the US Army (25 years) without a problem. It takes a little longer to mix (about 5 min) of stirring, but worth the wait.

I bought this because I saw on social media that it was nice to use because it helps keeps the shave bumps at bay. I tried it tonight and it's not bad. It mixed well with water, but I think I put too much water because it was very runny. I was expecting a creamy texture and that's not what I got. The smell was horrendous. It says “fragrant”, but I wasn't expecting to smell some kind of sulfur/chemical/gas type smell. It wasn't good. I was expecting it to burn just because of the smell, but it didn't. It came off very smoothly. It left my skin very nice and smooth, which doesn't happen with just a razor. Overall, I do like the product. It works like it's supposed to. I would give it a 5 star review if the smell wasn't so gross.

I bought this product a year ago. At first it wasn't mixing well then I mixed some with warm water instead. It was fine and I didn't upset everyone in my house with the smell. Moisturizing afterwards is very important.

I just bought this tonight and used it on my legs, amazing!!!!! Smooth as can be, no hairs left, only thing keeping it from a 5 star review. It smells like gas that has been trapped in a cellar..

I have been using magic powder for 15 years and had to buy this type as the stores near me do not stock the other ones.Ive tried 3 different tins of this Gold pack one and they are all the same It does not dissolve in water takes about 15 minutes to get to a smooth paste. What have you done?The other ones were great quick and easy to use.

I bought the gold magic shave and was familiar with the product for I use it many years ago for several years. I followed the instruction and spreader on my face. I let it stay on for about 7 minutes and wipe my face with a moist towel. It did not remove the hair and my face got red and irritated, I won't be using this product ever again. I normally don't write reviews unless there is a reason, and the reason is this product done more harm to me than good!
