Great relaxer for thick or course hair
This is an excellent perm! I will admit my expectations wasn't very high b/c I have used optimum in the past and was disappointed ( I love ORS and have been using it for years but I think my hair adapted to it) I have to say it made my hair feel healthy, bouncy, and shiny! and I love the smell!

Relaxed hair.
Easy to use and does a great job. Directions are easy to follow and you should follow the d rections to get the best results. I have been using for years and have never had a bad experience. I use product once every 12-15weeks.

Optimum Salon Hair Care Relaxer
This releaxer is perfect! It does do what it says defies breakage, gives hair body, conditions hair, and provides shine. I have used this relaxer for years and I can say that it is THE BEST relaxer system in a box that one can do it themselves at home. It is nicely prices @ approximately $6.87. You really cannot beat the price and quality of the Soft Sheen Carson Brand, Optimum Relaxer!!!

Great Relaxer
I've been using this relaxer for years (10+). I love it and would and have recommended it to anyone looking to get a salon quality straightening at home. It has minimal smell, and doesn't leave your hair feeling brittle or stiff like a lot of the other products. I have long, thick "coarse" hair, and it does a great job.

I have used this product for more than 20 years. Only learned I could order through Walmart. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. Very satisfied with prompt delivery and will order more in the future.

Old/Expired Optimum Relaxer Kits
I purchased two of these Optimum Relaxer Kits, my favorite brand, about a week ago and when I opened one of the leave-in hair oil packets, the oil was very dried up and definitely unusable. I opened the other box and that oil was also dried up. If the oil packet is old, I decided that I shouldn't use the relaxer kits either. Will be returning both kits to the store. Very disappointing...as I've never had this happen before.
