This has worked so far just as I needed it to. As a female with a low cut hair do it makes it easy to brush and go. It's not too gooey nor does it leave stains behind. It's very easy to rub on your hair and it's invisible. A little goes a long way. It's a great price for what you get. I highly recommend it for those wanted waves or just a smooth look on a low haircut.

Good pomade, hair stays washable
Good pomade, styles and washed out easily. Unlike some other pomades which are almost water proof this feels much cleaner to use and has a light but pleasant scent.

Sportin waves
I've been using this for years. It's awesome stuff n holds my hair perfectly. I've tried the Gold jar but it's not as good. I won't use anything else .

Prefer Older Hair Pomade over the Newer Max Pomade
Much easier to apply than the newer Maximum Hold Sportin' Waves.
