I received this body wash to try - I have used Softsoap body wash prior to trying this one before. We have a water softener because our water has a lot of iron in it. Unfortunately for us our softener had a problem but luckily for whom ever is reading this, I tried this oil body wash without a softener and with so I can compare the suds and feel of this body wash. Without the soften water the Softsoap luminous oil body wash did suds up quite good. One small squeeze (about a quarter size) was enough to wash my entire body. The body wash has a nice pleasant smell and it left my skin feeling good. No residual soap feel was left on my body. With the water softened (as water softener was fixed), the body wash also suds up very well. Using the same amount as stated above, one small squeeze was all that was needed to wash my entire body. The smell of the Luminous oil macademia & peony is very nice. My husband even liked the smell - it does not overwhelm you in the shower or out. The soap does not cling to your body and washes away leaving the skin feeling very nice. My skin felt very velvety and smooth. All in all I think anyone who would try this product will like it very much. Pros -- Very nice smell Do not need very much to get a good suds in sponge or washcloth Washes away leaving body feeling nice - no residual soap feeling Body feels silky and smooth Cons -- Nothing

It has a soft fragrance of peony that not only leaves you smelling clean and fresh but relaxed as well. Just a small amount of this liquid goes a log ways. This bottle holds 15 fl oz or (443 ml) and will last you through many enjoyable soothing baths. I have tried to think of something that I don't like about this product but I am at a loss for words(which is unusual). I like shower gels that moisturize and smell great, and this Softsoap Luminous Oils Macadamia Oil & Peony Body Wash fits the bill. I have previously used Softsoap's Coconut Scrub Body Wash, so I knew they made good shower products. I think I like this Luminous Oils wash even better. There's an Avocado Oil & Iris that I may want to try next. The Macadamia Oil & Peony smells more like peonies than anything else. The fragrance lasts a goodly while and thankfully is subtle enough that it doesn't clash with my perfume. I don't know if you can tell by the picture of the shower pouf, but the lather is very soft with small, creamy bubbles. It leaves the skin soft, not greasy. The picture of the bottle shows that the formula is actually quite clear. It's got a bit of an amber tint owing probably to the macadamia oil, but it is not opaque at all. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes a scented body wash. Especially if you like the scent of peonies.

Bought this for my daughter when she decides to use the spare bathroom. She told me she loves the smell and it seems like it could've been from B%26BW. She said it doesn't make her skin itch and it hasn't broken her out.

This body wash is wonderful. Most body wash I use don't get very soapy and when the water hit the wash cloth all the soap disappear. Not this macadamia oil and peony body wash , it not only becomes very soapy but it makes your skin feel so good. It has an alluring desirable fragrance that last on and on. My husband asked me what was I wearing, which usually he never notice unless I am wearing an after bath body mist. With a lot of other body wash I have to use just about half of the bottle in order to keep it soapy and wash my entire body. With this body wash you only have to use a little and the wash cloth remain soapy. I will be using this body wash again and again because I know that it works and I will be saving money. Also it is Husband Approved.

I have only been using this for a couple of days but I notice a difference in my skin already. It is much less dry! I attribute this to the oils in this body wash. Winter is harsh on the skin and this seems to be helping so far. Also it smells amazing! I like that this body wash lathers up nicely on a body wash sponge. Not all body wash does this! I will anxiously await other scents to come out in this Luminous Oils collection!

The Soft soap Luminous Oils Macadamia Oil and Peony Body wash really smells great. The body wash is clear with a tint of rose color. It is not a cloudy color as other Soft soap body wash has been in the past. The shape of the bottle is easy to handle in the shower. The bottle shape makes it sturdy to stand up in the shower and not fall over. The black top makes it look elegant. The body wash lathers up good in a loofah sponge. It spreads well on the body. It washes clean and leaves the skin feeling clean and not dried out. Actually your skin is left feel smooth.

I am normally more of a bar soap person, glycerin or something like that. But I love Macadamias and Peonies and thought this might be something different. It is a clear soap, I like that, and opening the bottle, the fragrance was wonderful. It suds up nicely but the fragrance does not stay on skin and my skin was not any more moisturized or better or softer or improved over my usual bar soap. Maybe there is a difference after several uses but I used it twice and found it to be an average product.

The Softsoap Luminous Oils Macadamia Oil and Peony Body Wash does what its supposed to. The 15 fluid ounce container comes in clear bottle with a pink/peach color of body wash. The bottle is a nice size but I think it is hard to open. Also the scent of the body wash is overpowering and therefore makes it not a pleasant scent. Some might like this I do not. I am assuming that the strong scent is caused by the Peony; this would be just a guess because I do not know what peony's smell like. Some might like the scent and if you do that is fine, but I just found this Soft soap product not something I would want to use again. I used the product like you would normally use a body wash. I would not recommend this to a friend.
