Softsoap Luminous Oils Moisturizing Body Wash, Macadamia Oil and Soft Peony Scent, 20 fl oz

Picked this because there weren't a lot of scents to choose from at the time. I wasn't sure what to expect. However, it's the one scent that when I walk in the bathroom after someone showers and I can smell it lingering. The scent is really nice and I would definitely buy this one again.

I received this body wash to try - I have used Softsoap body wash prior to trying this one before. We have a water softener because our water has a lot of iron in it. Unfortunately for us our softener had a problem but luckily for whom ever is reading this, I tried this oil body wash without a softener and with so I can compare the suds and feel of this body wash. Without the soften water the Softsoap luminous oil body wash did suds up quite good. One small squeeze (about a quarter size) was enough to wash my entire body. The body wash has a nice pleasant smell and it left my skin feeling good. No residual soap feel was left on my body. With the water softened (as water softener was fixed), the body wash also suds up very well. Using the same amount as stated above, one small squeeze was all that was needed to wash my entire body. The smell of the Luminous oil macademia & peony is very nice. My husband even liked the smell - it does not overwhelm you in the shower or out. The soap does not cling to your body and washes away leaving the skin feeling very nice. My skin felt very velvety and smooth. All in all I think anyone who would try this product will like it very much. Pros -- Very nice smell Do not need very much to get a good suds in sponge or washcloth Washes away leaving body feeling nice - no residual soap feeling Body feels silky and smooth Cons -- Nothing

Our Dermatologist was pleased to hear we were using Soft Soap w/ oil He said it kept skin moisturized It does not leave skin feeling "oily" It feels smooth There were other fragrances but haven't seen them lately Walmart still has one A light scent no heavy perfume smell

I have tried to think of something that I don't like about this product but I am at a loss for words(which is unusual). I will stop buying the more expensive body washes I have used in the past and switch for the Soft Soap Luminous Oils with Macadamia Oils adn Peony. Now when I finish my shower, I feel like I have just left an expensive spa.

I like shower gels that moisturize and smell great, and this Softsoap Luminous Oils Macadamia Oil & Peony Body Wash fits the bill. I have previously used Softsoap's Coconut Scrub Body Wash, so I knew they made good shower products. I think I like this Luminous Oils wash even better. There's an Avocado Oil & Iris that I may want to try next. The Macadamia Oil & Peony smells more like peonies than anything else. The fragrance lasts a goodly while and thankfully is subtle enough that it doesn't clash with my perfume. I don't know if you can tell by the picture of the shower pouf, but the lather is very soft with small, creamy bubbles. It leaves the skin soft, not greasy. The picture of the bottle shows that the formula is actually quite clear. It's got a bit of an amber tint owing probably to the macadamia oil, but it is not opaque at all. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes a scented body wash. Especially if you like the scent of peonies.

Softsoap is a well known brand and I was pleased to be able to select the Luminous Oils macademia oil & peony body wash through the Walmart Spark Reviewer program. This luminous Oils body wash has a delicious, soft fragrance that is not too strong and is pleasantly soft. The luxurious oil is non-greasy and leaves your skin very soft and radiant. I have very dry skin in the winter and this took away the ash, flaking, and dryness. It has paeonia suffruticosa seed oil and macademia integrifolia seed oil. It does contain D&C yellow no. 10, FD&C red no.4, D&C red no. 33 which I was not pleased with. I see no need for them to place dyes in an already delightful product. The dyes are the last item on the "contains" list so it is very negligible. I am happy with the end result and the silkiness of my skin so I will use it again. I do hope that they make more washes with oil in them.

I love the smell and the way that it cleans,so I wlll be buying more in the future.

Not sure if it's intentional or a product failure, but this doesn't create enough foam even with high quantity. The fragrance is alright but doesn't stay for too long. Overall a mediocre choice.

Soft soap Moisturizing Body Wash in Macadamia oil and peony is so good. My daughter and I love it. I think my son secretly uses it. So good. 100% recommend. 👍👍👍

The Softsoap Body wash works very well, it cleans my whole body including hair and leaves me feeling fresh and smelling good. It doesn't leave any residue and doesn't dry my skin out either. Very happy with this product.
