Got this as a stocking stuffer for my husband and one for my Brother in law. They use it everytime they golf so they keep track of whose are whose!

Ball alignment for putts
Handy tool to keep in my bag. I have started marking my ball to line-up putts. It's made a big difference. I point the ball where I want to aim with the line. Then hit the ball with my putter line matching. It comes with a little sharpie.

Works well.
Works well for my son, who is just getting into the sport. Plastic seems sturdy and is holding up well so far. Pretty cheap in price compared to alternatives

It works but with a bit more effort than expected
It's not always easy to tell if you're getting the marking on the exact “equator” of the ball, but so far it seems close enough. Getting a smooth line on a dimpled golf ball requires several strokes with the marker to “color in” the line.
