Great tactical knife for the $$$
Great knife already have the non blacked out Solid but light Would be a great combat knife or self defense Not crazy about the sheath and the connector to the belt Need a lured that has a belt loop

My first SOG
I just got this for xmas, and really like the way it feels and grips in your hand. Came very sharp. I would of liked a different sheath but I might look around for something more flexible. Overall a good quality knife.

Really nice knife
It's a nice knife and seems kind of underrated. It's USA Made, a great size, nice handle, excellent quality, and very useful. The steel is really something. Mine had a nice edge when I got it but I touched it up anyway. Gosh does this steel take an edge. It's like I could not believe it. I worked on it and kept touching the edge because it was outrageously sharp. I did the paper thing. If you get one, just be careful and don't be obsessive about sharpening and touching the edge. Some of you will be. That's not bad, just don't cut yourselves. I would have preferred a leather sheath, but that's a little niggle.

Fantastic knife!
This knife has been on my list for years, but I had to pull the trigger when I saw the blackout version. Absolutely love this blade.

Great knife
Purchased the blackout version for my son who loves my original pillar. He's not getting it until Christmas but I can tell you after years of use on mine it's a stellar knife. If you're on the fence just get it.
