SOG Parashears Black

I purchased the SOG parashears about a month ago to use in a trauma FAK that I am making for my home. I fee by l It will better meet the function needs of the kit much better than what was the proprietary shears in the kit. I like the way it folds up to better accommodate fitting in the pack. I plan to get another one to install on a plate carrier or tactical belt.

Great tool

I bought these for a med kit I’m putting together for emergencies. I didn’t have leatherman raptor shears money, and these were half the price. They also feel like half the quality but in reality I only need to use them once or hopefully never. But if life has taught me anything it’s that things can get messy and scary quick and I’d rather have these than nothing at all.

I’d like to place these shears in the same side pocket on my uniform pants my simple shears go in and I can’t, they get stuck on a clip on the side that isn’t even wide enough for my belt so I will never use it. I need a tool with a ring cutter on it. And the Phillips is 2d.
