WOW! I bought this tool without ever seeing it in person. I researched the company and read many reviews and just knew I wanted to get it. And how GLAD I did. This too is absolutely fantastic. SOG really did their research and I am thoroughly impressed with this company. I have owned both leatherman and gerber multi tools and hands down this SOG tool is the best I have ever had and used. The tool opens and closes so smoothly due to its gear action. The tools in this particular model are just what i need. Each tool locks in place which is a finger saver. This model comes with a "v" cutter which is basically a hook with a blade in it which i really like. There is a similar model with same tools except it has scissors instead of v cutter which i hardly ever used on other tools i owned. I love everything about this tool. You can get this tool with either a leather or nylon sheath. I chose the nylon sheath and it is one of the best sheaths i have had. It is rugged and fits right over your belt (even wide belts) and has a lip at the end so it will catch the bottom of your belt and not fall off when running or bending. Hands down this is the best multi tool i have ever owned.

Extremely pleased with this product. I've owned one before and there's a reason I came back. The geared jaws give absolutely ridiculous gripping power, enough to literally flatten and snap stripped screws, and the 1/4 drive socket attachment...wow, this thing has saved my butt so many times, its insane. SOG, you rule for making a multi tool that surpassed my leatherman that's held up for 6 and a half years of constant abuse, which I thought there was none better.

Great set of tools for an every day maintenance. I would of given a 5 star but the little latched doors things the hold back the tools are a bit to flimsy I can't open them without the whole door thing popping off. The finished paint came off easy with use but you would expect that from a tool

i bought the knife just before a campout, and the first thing i had to use it for was to cut a massive block of cheese. it performed excellently and was really good. The blade came really sharp, which was awesome. I don't really favor the little rods that you have to fold out o access the tools because they get in the way. And the knife does not have scissors, which i use frequently. The pliers are good, and really tough, at the cost of being able to spring back into open, but i would rather have tough pliers than spring loaded ones. All in all, it is a genuinely good tool that i am expecting to last for a long time in camping.

Bought this for work and absolutely love it good sturdy pliers and wire cutters better than any I've ever had

Bought it a few weeks ago. Ordered it with an engraving of my name, but it didnt come with it. The order sheet it came with says it was there, and to look at attached sheet to review the engraving, but there was no attached sheet. Just holes in the top corner where there had been a stapled sheet of paper. It also appears to be a used model, based on the marred finish. I also added three day shipping but it took 4 days. Still need to return this for my money back and buy a leatherman instead.

There is a major design flaw in this unit. covering the individual tool is a piece of metal with makes using the pliers very easy on the hand when used , but the way they are held on are so flimsy and non secured that after using th etool for two weeks I lost both pieces
