Returning to oils after putting them aside for quite some time in favor of watercolors. Buying this set of SOHO Urban was just on good faith. I liked the selection of colors, so why not. It was not a big investment. I find the colors bright, the texture of the paint very workable. Being used to a fast-drying medium (watercolor) I use Liquin to hurry things along. Currently painting small panels. When I need to replace empty tubes, I'll stick with the brand.

I gave this to my grandson for his birthday and it is a great value and very appreciated!

The many different colors help in mixing a variety of color pallets.

I took a chance and bought this and I am very glad that I did! It has lots of colors and the oil paints are very smooth and creamy. I will be painting with this set for some time to come, and it didn't break the bank. Very good purchase for a painter like me who doesn't keep every painting, and every possibly for professional painters as well.

I was surprised by the quality of these oil paints! They are good quality oil paints. Has a good bright color that doesn't dull when used. These were better than some Charvin paints I tried. My first time to try SoHo paints and I think I will be buying some more! The price is very good also

These paints feel less pigmented compared to other brands. That makes them very simple to use for a beginner artists. I could also see them used in expresssionist techniques or impasto painting, where the low price of these paint makes them a perfect resource. However, I prefer painting thin layers, and I need maximum pigment for thinnest paint layer. So this specific brand does not suit my work style.

Beautiful colors I will repurchase

I was first very happy when Jerry's included a free gift with my order. I tested the tubes and ended up buying large sizes of selected color. The consistency is exactly what I like working with.

Got this set for a Christmas gift. Cracked it open yesterday. So far, so good. Color is intense. I am feeling happy that I have all the colors Soho produces. When squeezing out the paint, the oil and pigment aren't separating on the palate. I love the case!

This was an affordable way to return to artistic painting now that I am retired. Have not done any painting for about twenty years and this was a good set to start with. Most sets were hundreds of dollars more.
