I love the finished product! It is great to sit in. However, the directions have no qords so we had issues with the door assembly as they aren't marked for front and back. It went together fine after that with tje roof panels being marked. On hot days over 90* it gets very warm in side so we added a fan for circulation. Would be great to have sreen panels available for the doors. Overall great product. We haven't had it thru tje 1st winter yet so i will up date next year.
Everything I thought it would be
Bought this 3 yrs ago. Holding up great through Iowa winters. No problems with snow weight. Did not remove any snow roof and we had a tough winter. Is it possible take out the current wall panels to add another double door to the other side of gazebo?
Put it together yesterday. The assembly instructions are terrible, no words only diagrams. Thankfully my son in law is a mechanical whiz and he eventually figured it all out but it was much harder than it had to be. Took three of us almost all day, with much of our time just scratching our heads trying to figure out the next steps. The manufacturer really ought to provide a You Tube video on each of their products. That aside, the unit is beautiful, sturdy and amazingly functional. Everything was included, it had extras of every screw and bolt. It even included a winter support pole that I thought I had to pay extra to buy later. The fit and finish of every piece was perfect and we had no problems in assembling it once we figured out the instructions. We love it now that it is up.
We have had this solarium for about ten tears now, it has held up very well. We've had small hail storms over the years and the roof has held with out pitting or such. It's south facing so once the sun hits, it does get very hot with out windows open for a cross breeze. We've added shantex eco-tiles on the floor (cement slab). I've cut and framed a dog door on a side panel, so it doubles as a large dog house lol. To clear the snow off, I use a small windshield squeegee (rubber side down lol) screwed on to a painters pole The only beef I have with it when we assembled it by the instructions, the door slides open on the out side. The bottom "door track" is exposed to the weather, and gets clogged up if not kept clean. I've had to use a flathead screwdriver and a mallet (hammer) to un-clog it.
We have had our gazebo for 3 years now. The instructions definitely need improvement, but my husband and brother put it together with my assistance on laying out the parts to be ready for assembly. Because the instructions aren't that clear, had to redo the doors twice because they were the wrong way before continuing assembly. Had to go back and finish the next day. Once assembled, I have had no issues over the last 3 years.
The instructions are pictures. Add a few sentences and it could save an hour of rework. Especially for creating the two door sides. Takes much longer than 6 hours with 2 people.
Bought this and the instructions are just picture no words.....the items might be marked with an alphabet letter and a number but they dont say which way they are supposed to face as far as the door frames......very confusing....after 4 people trting to put it together this is still not up and all the money we spent on this its ridicules and a waste. Very disappointed.
Was seriously damaged. And they are out of them. So probably won't get a replacement till end of summer!
You can not clean the plastic windows on both sides. The screens do not come out so you could get to the outside plastic windows or if the screens were damaged you couldn't repair them.
