Sojag Mykonos 12 ft. x 12 ft. Gazebo

Sam's Club had the best price for items I looked for. Wanted this because it had a metal roof, not plastic. Received my order quicker than I thought. Delivery company was very good. Everything went very good putting it together. All holes lined up. The written instructions were easy to follow, but I would recommend watching the YouTube video. It was very helpful to see two guys showing how it goes together. I also used a ratchet screw driver instead of the allen wrenches that were provided.

We bought this sun shelter in the 12x12 size to replace one that had polycarbonate roof panels that had a lot of hail damage. It took my husband about 10 hours over 2 days to assemble this, with a little assistance from me. It is not an easy job, but since we had experience assembling our previous one, we knew what we were dealing with. It looks great and seems to be very sturdy. We're very happy with this purchase.

We replaced a 15 yr old shelter that had a fabric top. It was also purchased at Sam's. Purchase of the new shelter was easy and was delivered quickly. It took 3 people 8 hours to put it together. No problems with missing parts or directions. Seems very sturdy and has already been through a thunderstorm with high winds.

Over 400 fasteners and every one fit as designed. Ordered this with about a 3 week delivery. Actually took about 4 weeks. The fabricating accuracy is exceptional. Like putting together a large erector set. Took 3 people to stand up the legs and bolt them all together. Other than that, I assembled it all by myself.

This is a very well made product! Solid weld joints! Top quality! Easy to assemble IF (and I repeat IF) the decals that are called out in the instructions are placed in the right location on one of the parts. My son and I spent the better part of the afternoon trying to get the roof assembly to fit. We finally took it entirely apart and began those steps a second time. Whoever put some decals on one critical part REVERSED and 'E' and and 'F' decals. Once we figured out the CORRECT step and part placement the rest of the assembly went smoothly.

Overall looks to be a good shelter, however the roof panels are quite flimsy .The instruction were pictures only and not bad to follow. I am 63 and put it together mostly by myself. Only needed help standing up and bolting together the four corners and installing the roof. Had to drill screw holes a bit larger so that screw will fit. A 6 foot step ladder was all I needed. The footprint for the 12x16 is 139”x 190.5”.

We had a very difficult time with many of the screws. I think that the black paint made the screw a little tight. The screws for the spines could have been just a little longer. Not all the panels are covered by the spines. Decided to hire someone to caulk the gaps or perhaps install some weather stripping. Overall the unit is very nice and provides shade and cover over our outdoor kitchen.

We were in the market for a roof over our existing 14' x 16' deck or possibly a screened in porch. I have pretty good contacts in the construction field due to my occupation yet early projections seemed to be in the 8k - 10k range (Granted this would have been a permanent structure engineered to use my existing deck and attach to an all brick home to meet local code). After carefully measuring our deck and realizing this could be a great solution at a fraction of the price ($1957.71 after shipping) we decided to order it despite the lack of reviews on this model. Shipping seemed pretty fast, maybe a week and a half. However, the shipping turned out to be our only problem. It came in two very heavy boxes. The frame box said it was 272 lbs. and was probably 8' long x 18" squared. The roof panel box was 168 lbs. and was probably 4' x 3' and about 4" thick so it is very dense. Long story short, the boxes showed some signs of damage and in turn so was the gazebo. The frame damage wasn't that bad to fix. The roof panels were a little more challenging and at least 1 out of every 3 panel section had damage. The good news is that I was able to get it pretty good with a hammer and some blocks of wood. Also, I'm pretty sure it arrived sooner than it was expected to. My wife and I did the install ourselves and it took 10 - 11 hours on an extremely hot day. Much time was spent fixing bent panels. The instructions are pretty much just pictures with a list of hardware needed, but were pretty handy I suppose. Overall we are very happy with the end result and for us, this was a great alternative. If I'm being a perfectionist, the areas I fixed bother me a little.

Very well made good sturdy, strong and stable. But but but if only the parts were complete, M4 parts at all four corners are missing unbelievable don't know who to ask for the missing parts is it samsclub or sojag company of Canada. So 3 stars on this…..

Well we received it 4 days ago. Two of the main supports had cracked welds. I called Sojag and they were polite and said they would send 2 new ones and will take approx 7-10 days to get. In the meantime we figured we would put together what we can while we wait for those two main beams. In doing so I discovered all the roof braces are two short and I either need longer ones or spacers and longer bolts. I sent the question into Sojag today waiting to see if there is something we are doing incorrectly or if they were just manufactured wrong. We haven't heard back yet. It looks like a nice Gazebo but their quality control and instructions are really lacking. I will update it if I get these issues resolved.
