SOL Escape Bivvy with Hood

I originally claimed this to keep it in my car as an emergency blanket/bivvy, since it's always better to be prepared. I am very pleased with this product. The design is great. It's very small and compact, and it's LOOOONG. I am 5'2, but I put my taller brother in there and I could have folded it over on him. There is a small zip that allows ease of getting in and out. It is shorter and doesn't go around the full perimeter of the bivvy, which I find better anyway. It's very thin, and has the metallic heat reflective on its inside. When I stayed in there, I got warm. 70% is certainly an accurate number, because it was very comfortably warm. If I were outside on a cold winter's night, it would be great. The waterproofing is also wonderful, since no one likes being wet. However, the fabric makes it a little difficult in terms of breathability. It's comfortable and keeps you warm, but it trapping that heat can make it stuffy. The hood lets you breathe on the outside, but you might be a lil sweaty. It wasn't as bad as other products I have used, but still. I tested the water durability in the sink and it passed with flying colors. I had my dog scratch at it and there were more flying colors. Putting it away was the only difficult part, but as you can see, I still managed to get it back in. Overall, I think this is a wonderful product. I will be purchasing a second one for my brother when he goes camping. I would recommend the product!

It's ultra lightweight, packable, comes in its own storage bag and takes up minimal space for what it can do - keep you warm and dry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shipping/package could be a bit more secure, but that is minimal. Overall the product is great to have on hand. Especially with the crazy abd unpredictable weather recently. Its big enough to fit my husband abd keep him warm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the pacakaging of this product/brand. I thought it was gonna be really big at first but it's very compacted which is nice. Quality is decent… wouldn't say it's super comfortable it does have that plastic feeling but what's great is that it keeps you less wet, very water resistance. It works for outdoors that's for sure. No rips nothing bad.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very nice Bivvy!! The tester is a 225 pound 5 foot 11 man and it fit him nicely. It was easy to get into and out of, and I love the fact that you can close the hood down . This rolls up into such a small compact size that it is so easy to be able to throw into the backpack without taking up much space. There is no assembly. You just unroll it and it's ready to go. We did run water over it to see if it would allow water in and it was waterproof ! Absolutely 100% would recommend this product. We will get great use out of it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bag this came with for storage is miniature and doesn't fit so that's a real bummer for packing this in a backpack. It has a zipper down the side and the hood tightens all around to make a good seal around your head. Very lightweight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My boyfriend regularly goes ice fishing and he ended up using this with his friends. It has an easy to use bag for travel and on the go warmth. It kept him warm all day long and stayed dry as well. I personally wish it came in a cuter color but it works great for what he needs and I feel like it will last for my many seasons!

I think I would recommend this product to those people that want to pack lightly. I think this product would be great against wind, rain, and even snow. It would be a great extra protection even in a sleeping bag. it has a zipper for easy entry I would recommend this product for people that likes to be in the outdoors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] incredible how it keeps you warm even in the snow is a bag with a saw and sipper that has a hood and allows ventilation so you don't suffocate. this makes you stay safe in it and don't have any hypothermia due to the cold. it's water resistant and very light you can take it with you in uour bag or backpack since it doesn't take up much space it folds so small that it is perfect so you will be safe in nature. it is very resistant and you can use it over and over again.is assembly is very easy.
