I eat this product regularly and it has replaced another brand whose fish texture was far inferior to Sol Mex. Each sardine isn't mushy as one often encounters. To GREATLY reduce the amount of sodium intake merely pour off a good half of the tomato based sauce, its that simple! Of course this is a superb source of protein and also is a natural supply of Omega 3 fatty acids but what is even more important is that it tastes awesome!! OH, and if bought in lots of six cans, its VERY affordable!!
These are the best tasting Sardines I have ever had
Fried and spread over boil rice wao, yumy
good price
should have more sardines inside
please know that if you order 6 for 14.98 you wont get 6 you will get 4!
The cans of sardines came in an ask. All cans were smashed. Very poor packaging
So i hate to leave 2 stars. But whoever packaged this needs to a batter job. It was shipped here not from a local Walmart. They put it in a sealable paper bag... and every single can had ginormous dents all over. I dont care they put it in a bag, but at least put bubble wrap or something with it. So the product itself is not a 2 star, but the person who packed this.... it came from Illonois to Ohio.... in a paper packagng, so you can imagine how dented they were. Im surprised they didnt leak!
ALL 4 CANS WERE DENTED - ONE OF THEM QUITE BADLY!
I was happy to find this SolMex sardines back in stock on Walmart.com so I ordered 12 cans. Unfortunately, only 1 can is not heavily dented so I am returning the dented 11 sardines cans back to the Walmart store because I don't want to take the risk of suffering from possible botulism.
