We did not receive the stake for the solar panel or the fake egg. Other than that we are happy with this door. We have it set for light sensing mode and anti pinch mode. So far so good.

I wasn't expecting this to feel too heavy-duty based on the price, but it is quite flimsy. I put a little awning over ours to help protect it from the elements. We've had it mounted for 2 days now and it works as it should.

The door operates on a motor that goes up and down via a motor that runs up and down for an adjustable 18-23 second timer. Which is a very crude method and WOULD work fine. Except the motor moves VERY slow when cold. 23 seconds will only open it halfway on a cold morning. So you walk out, get it to finish opening, and then walk back out at night to get it to close all the way. "Automatic" you chuckle. The wooden door is easier. The LCD display of the controller is sluggish and difficult to read in the cold too so adjusting it is nigh impossible. Solar seems to work fine even on short winter days and in the shadow of trees and the construction is solid. Will eventuall remove the controller, install limit switches, a photoeye and will wire and program an Ardurino unit to make it useful. But for the cost of all that? Buy a better unit.

The remote does not work and you have to manually push the button at least twice to get the door to open or close so the auto light sensor function does not work. You also need to unplug it after each use, or it will close and open itself randomly.

The door will not stay closed. Tried several different things in hopes of fixing the issue. No response from the seller or Walmart. I guess a return is my next step.

Door would not close all the way all the time. Couldn't get it to work consistently. Nice heavy main unit and frame. Door is actually made of a plastic. Returning.

Terrible quality product. 10/10 would not recommend. I had to return it because it would not stop going up and down. It was stopping part way. When it did close all it didn't stop in time setting off the anti crush feature. Product came with zero troubleshooting literature and could not find anything on the internet.

Very dissatisfied. Took it out of box plugged it in and wouldn't even try to turn on. Had to return

Timer. What timer? The most ridiculous excuse for a timer. Since install its never functioned correctly. My understanding of the pathetic instructions, take your phone to see the time you want the door to open and/or close. Press and hold green button for 3 seconds and green light flashes every 5 seconds to confirm. Same with red button. I get the green/red light flashing every 5 seconds but the door never responds to the time I pressed the buttons. Door supposed to open at 8am...ive waited til 8:10am then finally pushed the green button to open door. Door to close at 7pm...but never does. I believe its on the light/dark setting. Door closes sometimes before 7 and sometimes after. Theres no manufacturer info provided so I'm unable to google any info on how to figure it out. I'm fairly intelligent but this has me stumped.

Stopped working 3 times. I discovered the solar panel was not waterproof. After a night of rain it stoped working. When I picked it up water ran out of the inside. I had to return it.
