These lights are not overwhelming like our last lights. The soft glow illuminate the deck rail and floor but we still have our deck ambiance. The perfect accent. I appreciate the ease of installation as well, just two screws that come with the kit. I had them up in about 30 minutes, using them that evening.

All of these worked perfectly out of the box. They are nice addition to our porch railing, but they do not admit substantial amounts of light more of a guidance than it is a nightlight, but they're very pretty and they seem to work well.

I did not receive what I ordered. It's not even close. What I received is shaped more like a rectangle, and the directions say to place on the railing. I ordered solar lights for the steps! I'll be shopping elsewhere. Now to deal with the hassle of returning it.
