All of these worked perfectly out of the box. They are nice addition to our porch railing, but they do not admit substantial amounts of light more of a guidance than it is a nightlight, but they're very pretty and they seem to work well.

super easy install, the lights glow enough to give a nice accent lighting on the stairs. I ended up using double sided tape to install them on the stairs so I wouldn't have to wreck the wood stairs. the lights give my front steps a luxury feel.

I did not receive what I ordered. It's not even close. What I received is shaped more like a rectangle, and the directions say to place on the railing. I ordered solar lights for the steps! I'll be shopping elsewhere. Now to deal with the hassle of returning it.
