These solar lantern lights are really pretty and make a lovely display on my patio table. The metal leaf pattern isn't just decorative — when the light turns on, it casts beautiful shadows on the table with a mix of light and detail that looks great at night. They charged in the sunlight during the day and came on automatically when it got dark. The lights do exactly what they're supposed to do, and I'm very happy with them.
came charged. canister is sturdy built. it throws a 3-d like image of spring leaves on the area surrounding it. nicely lit up a table for 4. no batteries no electric. free solar powered. great lantern for gathering eggs at 5:00am. it has an on %26 off switch. . keep one by the kids bed for late night nature call.
Beautiful bronze - like in color. Easy to use. Simply remove the solar panel on top, turn the switch to on, and replace the solar panel. Place where the sun hits it. At dusk, the light illuminates all the leaves, casting a pretty display on the ground. Practice different heights to get the best effect. I placed mine on a shepherds hook next to my patio, and it casts a beautiful shower of leaves over a large part of the patio. This is one solar light your neighbors will be jealous of.
This solar lamp has a really pretty design and rustic metal color. I love how it cast light shadows of leaves all around circling the lamp. Battery life is great so lamp lasts well into the night and recharges during the day with the solar panel. It's bright as well for on accent light.
The pattern I can tell is going to be beautiful but I hate charged it yet because I just received it. It arrived a little dented but i pushed the dent out. I cant wait to sit it out in the sun and see the pattern at night
Wasn't sure if I would like the pattern on this solar light But oh boy ! it is so nice! The way the pattern of leaves bounce off it all around, Its lovely. This spring/summer I think I will be gazing at it all evening long.
This is a good patio lights gives off a pretty pattern of leaves. The lightness of the lamp is a good attribute. But my thoughts on the price of the lamp is that it's way too high. The material is cheaply made. The button to cut on and off just about falls apart when pushing. Has a pretty light and pattern but cheaply made. Would not pay $40 for.
I absolutely love this solar light lantern! The leaf cutouts create the most beautiful patterns when it's lit — it almost looks like little leaf silhouettes dancing around the space. It adds such a cozy, peaceful vibe to my patio in the evenings. It's incredibly lightweight, so it's easy to hang or move wherever you need it, but don't let that fool you — it's surprisingly bright for a solar lantern. It charges well during the day and gives off a strong, warm glow at night. Perfect for the garden, porch, camping, or even indoors for ambiance. It's both decorative and functional. I would definitely buy this again!
This solar light is very interesting to study. It's an 8 x 5 inch metal can with leaves cut into it. The structure itself seems sturdy and looks like it would hold up to the elements. The solar light is just a cap that sets on top; it doesn't attach firmly in any way. As a white label product that comes in a plain box with no paperwork of any kind, it's fairly intuitive to peel the plastic off the solar panel, put it in the sun, and then push the On button. The day it came, there was only about an hour of sun left, so we were quite impressed that it picked up enough of a charge for us to play with it right away. It is a cool decoration and intriguing to look at. The lit up metal lantern is pretty enough to admire. The leafy pattern splays out across the table it's sitting on, the wall behind it, and even the floor below. The higher you lift it, the pattern becomes larger. Turn it upside down and the pattern splays across the ceiling. Hanging outside in the breeze, the leaves look to be swaying on the wall. It's a pretty neat ambience. That first night, it was bright enough to start, but did slowly dim through the evening. Oh, and it does go off when the lights are on. So it earned early points for the solar electronics actually working. The next day, it got a full day's charge so we could see if more power either made it brighter or just helped it to last longer. Turns out, the brightness was about the same, but the light lasted far shorter! It was bright at first, but very quickly went dim and was practically off by the end of the evening. That's points off for longevity. Good thing we planned to modify it into an indoor light. But first, we tried something different on day three. We put it outside in the On position. That helped. The third evening, the brightness was the same, but it stayed lit late into the evening. Maybe because we had it Off while charging, all we really saw the first two nights was the starter charge? We don't know, but we'll give the solar elements some points back. We did intend it for the patio, but in our circumstances, we can't enjoy it as much outside. Our first thought was to put a flameless tea light in it. Unfortunately, our local Walmart was out of them, so we had to start browsing for small lights. We ended up swimming down the big river and found a small, magnetic, rechargeable, multi-colored light. Without reviewing the after-market light, let's just say that you turn it on, attach it to the inside of this metal can, and you've got pretty lights for hours. So yeah, this solar lantern is a cute find, if it works for you in the patio. Otherwise, use it as a candle holder, or put funky lights in it. (There's even a small hole on the bottom that looks like someone who's electronically inclined could use to rig it up into a wired lamp. Otherwise, it's probably a drain hole.) Overall, we're going to give it a 4. (Sorry if the formatting doesn't recognize our paragraphs.)
This item arrived very quickly and was packaged well. The light that this lamp emits is absolutely gorgeous. It's bright and the pattern is stunning as it shines on my patio. However when it arrived, it was in a plain brown box and there were no instructions...just the lamp. I did notice, from the description on the website, that the button had to be in the "on" position when charging to be able to work. The issue is that, the button on mine may be broken, because it's indistinguishable from the off or on position. It's a push button that should be higher or lower depending on the function. My button doesn't really click to the up or down position, so I just had to guess. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it did come on at night and go off in the morning. Like I said it is really pretty and so far I'm happy with it. Time will tell if it's durable.
