They actually did heat up my pool's surface. My only dislike is making sure they lie flat (on an outdoor table) when not in the pool to not tear them.
These are great! I struggle with one big solar cover, so it is wonderful to have small, easy-to-handle solar rings. They are effective at heating the water, which is very appreciated.
We were skeptical at how or if these rings would help heat our pool to extend the season to use the pool. They were simple to use and started working the first day.
Love these. They are expensive compared to using the bubble wrap cover. However, we found that even with proper storage the bubble wrap covers wear out every 2 years. The rings have a little learning curve to inflate correctly, but once correct work great. Only downfall we have experienced is one windy night they bunched up but rest of the time they have been easy to use and take in/put out each day. We live in area with desert temps. Hot during day and cool at night. So covering the pool each evening is critical.
I received and once I read on the maintenance of them and the care of them it was too high maintenance for me to have one more thing on my list so I return them
i only received half the rings i purchased so far. where are the rest? additionally one of the rings has a hole and won't hold air. the magnets are quite weak and have to be pressed together manually in order to attach and slight movements disconnect them easily. i'm not sure if i will be keeping these.. it's a lot of money especially if it's just as difficult as a cover and such trouble.
In order to actually have them work properly, I would have to spend considerably more money than buying a solar cover. The quality isn't there either, I'll be lucky to get one seasons use, nothing more than a glorified raft.
Had to jump through too many hoops for a defective product. "Family owned" businesses do not use overseas customer service representatives. He could bot comprehend anything I was telling him and I was on the phone way too long. I will buy local now.
You know I was really really looking forward to receiving this product, a few days before was supposed to arrive I got a note saying that it was canceled and I would receive a refund in a few days. I didn't get the refund but I'm just stunned!! No no reason was given. And several weeks later, I still did not hear anything.
Very difficult to set up and I am extremely disappointed with this purchase. I certainly wish I could return them but I have no idea how to get them back to you for a refund
