[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time I've switched skincare products and my face hasn't reacted in a negative way in the adjustment. This goes on well, no clumping with the makeup on top, and feels good. I can't say enough good things about the fact they received EWG verification. Thanks for a top-notch product.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Doesn't feel heavy And absorbs Quickly. I mix mine with a little Olay Spf Moisturizer Just to help it Go on a little smoother. Doesn't agitate my skin at all. I will definitely buy again
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best sunscreen we've found after considerable research. Quality ingredients, nothing harmful, along with long-lasting protection. Goes on nicely...all you could ask for!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Clean, blends well, absolutely love it and have been searching for a good, clean sunscreen for a long time!
I've been using this now for about a year and I love it! At first, it leaves a slight white cast, but it disappears within 60 seconds. I also feel it just generally helps out my skin in addition to providing the sun protection. Also, I have no issues with it under make up or on top of all my other skin care products. Please never stop making this!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sunblock works great on my fair skin and protects my vitiligo spots (areas on my skin with no pigment) perfectly even in direct sunlight for hours. Despite following the directions to a T, including shaking the tube vigorously and kneading it to ensure to ingredients are evenly dispersed, it very much leaves the dreaded zinc white residue everywhere my skin touches. Trust me, I rub it in intentionally to prevent this from happening, but to no avail. Ultimately, I feel good about the eco-friendly ingredients that won't cause cancer by using toxins of any kind, so I'll keep using it - applying only after I'm no longer in a vehicle or other surfaces that could capture the white residue that never seems to come out.
The Clean Freak smells good and provides good water-resistant sun protection. To me it's a little bit thick and sticky feeling. And it settles into creases around my inner elbows and neck. I was hoping for something not tinted and not too expensive for daily use on arms and neck, and I don't think this is it. That said, it's a step up from my kids' sport sunscreen which I usually use for swimming and hiking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this sunscreen I developed severe contact dermatitis. It started 24 hrs after using the sunscreen. I usually use the GO! Sport superfruit body sunscreen but wanted to splurge on this for my trip. I so regret it ! I am 5 days in of intense itching that won't stop and went to get a prescription from my provider to treat the rash. I am grateful I didn't put it in my face.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've ordered this before and liked it a lot, but the formula has changed. It went on thick, pilly and gross. Not ordering again.
My first attempt to use Clean Freak was somewhat disappointing. Before opening the tube I shook it vigorously in an attempt to mix the product completely. When I opened the tube, the product had separated, and nothing but a clear liquid came out. (A lot of liquid!) I closed the tube and shook it again, but sadly nothing improved, still only clear liquid came out. Finally a thick white paste came out, that was completely separate from the clear liquid around it. The expiration date was 10/2025, so I wasn't expecting any separation after the vigorous shaking I had given the product. I was very disappointed. I have used other Solar products (from the Luxe and Go collections) and have been extremely pleased with the protection and non irritating ingredients. The price is a lot for me, but I paid it because of the excellent products. But sadly, my experience with Clean Freak was disappointing.
