This dehumidifier work super great. Right from the start it draws the water out of the basement %26 continues to this day about 1 month now. It has a humidifier gauge so we know what our basement is. Started at 75% %26 in two days was down in the 50's%. Only draw back is we haven't found a hose fitting to fit the back so we tipped it just a bit over the basement drain. It works so good I'm still giving it a 5 star. It's quieter than my countertop ice maker.
Don't be fooled by its size. It works very well and at great haste. Lowered our humidity , alone with my central ac, in our home to a comfortable level in less than 24 hours. So glad I made this purchase.
We purchased two of these dehumidifiers for our basement upon the advice of a plumber. They were easy to set up and are doing a great job reducing the moisture level to an acceptable level.
Website had error %26 wrong one was ordered but I reordered the correct one %26 took the original back to the store for a refund.
This dehumidifier is quiet, with a good size tank. Relatively easy set up as well. I would recommend this model.
Beware when buying this unit or anything from Solaris Air. We bought this exact model about three years ago. Around six months ago we started getting an E4 code which is a compressor overheat. After talking with customer service they suggest cleaning the filter trying a different outlet amongst other things that basically have nothing to do with a compressor overheat. After asking about finding a repair shop for it they said that parts for this unit are not manufactured, So now we have a $400 unit that is completely useless. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
The warranty company does not exist for this Chinese product. The warranty company in the manual refers you to a third party manufacturer that does not pick up the phone in a fashion that leads you to the fact that there is nobody on the other side of the line. Put your product out front on garbage day. Walmart is no help in getting satisfaction.
