Solid Gold Hund-N-Flocken Dog Food, Lamb 4lb

We recently switched our dog to Solid Gold Hund-N-Flocken Dry Food for Adult Dogs and are happy with the results. Kobie absolutely loves the taste and enjoys mealtime again, which was a huge win for everyone. The biggest things we noticed were improvement in digestion and energy levels. His coat looks shinier and he's had fewer stomach issues since making the switch. We also love that the ingredients are high quality and include probiotics for gut health.

This food was recommended to me my a dog trainer 20 years ago. At that time I could only find it in a specialized store or at our health food grocery store. Recipe had changed a little bit over the years but it's still really high quality, and my dogs' longevity and good health without big health issues is proof enough for me.

My miniature schnauzer at a year old was put on this food. I was looking for some thing that was 10% or less crude fat because miniature schnauzers don't do well in their lifetime if they're given a high crude fat diet a specialty pet store owner found this for me and his store and I've been using it ever since. My dog is 12 and his bodyweight is perfect. This is the only holistic dog food that I could find that had probiotic in it at the time. I briefly switched him to Buffalo and his breath was nasty because his stomach was off because he didn't have enough probiotics. Once I put him back on this food it got better. he is perfectly healthy and I am sure if he doesn't have any accidents or suddenly has a health issue that he will make it for a few more years I'm glad I was able to find on Walmart because it's hard to find this version of the food without the nutrient boost built-in as of a year ago.

Both my dog and my mother's dog really like this food - her dog can be a picky eater but he realky aeems to like this food and its recommended by my veterinarian.

Doesn't smell the most pleasant but my dogs loved it!

I have been using this brand since my dog was a tiny puppy, she's about to turn 7 y/o @ 20#s. It is great food (all flavors). My only complaint/comment is her poop is blacker, harder, & smellier. Mixing it with some canned veggie dog food or fresh veggie & fruits occasionally solves the problem. Great good!!!! My dog loves all the flavors except salmon/fish one. She likes fish fresh, not canned or dry fish flavor. Oh, & NEVER a recall. Good/excellent company!!!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I threw in dumpster after she had muscle loss in eyes and legs. Got steroid shots from vet.
