I have used Solo Cake and Pastry fillings for over 50 years. All the flavors are great but it is becoming increasingly difficult to find in local grocery stores. Walmart's availability and prices are better than even the manufacturer. I will look to Walmart for all my future orders of Splo Cale and Pastry fillings.

I've always used this to make what is called "cherry fluff." Excellent for that purpose. I do also use it for pastry filling.

Best filling for Polish pastries
Cherry is hard to find in my area. Local grocery stores usually only have poppyseed and prune so I had to order online. Grew up in Chicago where variety was well stocked in every grocery store. Wish they hadn't discontinued pineapple. Anyway, this is the only brand of filling that works well in baking Polish pastries.
