This bundle is everything! Do not use the spark screen much, using mostly alder and animal bedding pellets. Fairly clean burns, although the cobwebs on the eaves of my apartment show soot. Very satisfied with the purchase. High quality materials, simply designed, a little buffing with aluminum foil ball on the grate keeps this machine humming.

I love the double-burn, smokeless flame. Super efficient burn, clean ash. Excellent campfire experience, AND efficient smokeless, spark containing trash burning barrel.

When the sun went down, we enjoyed s'mores together as a family. I was impressed at how much heat it put off, but never felt nervous or unsafe with it. I really wanted to pick up a Ranger 2,0 and BOOM, a sale! The ash pan really is a game changer and makes cleaning a breeze. Now I wish all of our Solo's were "2.0!" Highly recommended!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want to burn branches from your yard, enjoy some heat, and roast some mallows without being committed to a long burn time this could be the one for you! It doesn't take nearly as much wood to get smokeless when compared to the bonfire or the Yukon so the wood you do have will go much farther with this model! The downsides are that it can't handle standard sized logs (I don't like burning anything longer than 11" in the ranger size pit) and it can't fit a lot of people around it. But if it's just a small group of 4 people or so, size shouldn't be an issue. I also believe if you want to run it hard (keep filling with wood) for more than 2.5 hours before letting it burn down to coals it will develop airflow issues as the pan fills with ash and clogs the grate. That can vary depending on the wood you are burning. Just keep it in mind if you're burning for a long time. I suspect that issue will exist with all other models as well.
