Maybe it's a little heavy for ultralight camping, but it's a sturdy well built and dependable little thing. I made my tea first and then my breakfast every morning and enjoyed every minute of it.

The perfect size for camping! I love it. It even has a pour spout for when I boil water to pour over my coffee.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this pot and lite stove a few weeks ago. My wife and I got it for camping and power outages. I tried boiling some water in it the first night and it works really well. I was impressed with the size of the pot. It holds a whole coffee pot of water for our French press coffee maker, a solid two cups. It would hold a whole bowl of soup as well. Great tool to have glad I bought it.

This pot is amazingly well designed and made. Nicely designed so the stove fits right into it for storage in your pack. I actually use it daily to make coffee. The spout/top is nicely designed so that very few coffee grinds get through when pouring. It balances nicely on top of the stove and heats up amazingly fast. If you are buying the stove this is a must have.

The Solo Stove products have very solid construction. The Solo Pot 900 has the measurement indicated on the inside of the pot, so as you fill it, you'll get things just right. The stainless steel holds up very well to the abuse of outdoor life. I prefer stainless steel pots over aluminum for cooking as heat transfers to the whole pot. But being made of stainless steel means this pot is not light. To keep the weight down, the pot has a very small handle, so does the pot cover. That means you might want to use a pot lifter or a glove. I have several pots of this size from various companies. They are great for solo cooking. The pour spout, a stainless steel lid and internal measurements are features that many of the comparable pots don't have. For these reasons I prefer this pot over the others.

Just fine for me solo, the handel is a little close to pot so I use gloves while heating food as well as while I use it. No real problem, it is what it is "A Compact Cooking Pot" PS the lid stays on well when you are pouring liquid out of it as well. Measure marks on side are handy.

This pot is perfect for the solo stove. It has measurement graduations on the side a good fitting lid the lid handle locks up in the upright position. The only thing I could think of to improve it would be if it was titanium however the weights saving could be negligible. If you are looking for the perfect pot to nest the solo stove in this is the pot for you.
