Solo Stove Yukon Big Yard Bundle 2.0,Incl. Yukon Smokeless Fire Pit with Stand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this pit to my hubby for his birthday. Since his football team's color is green, I felt this was perfect. I debated on the size but in the end, this was perfect. Assembly was easy and use was even better. Definitely going to add more to the bundle.

Easy to assemble

Our solo stove is amazing. It worked just like it was promised to. The Yukon is the perfect size for us. Can't wait until the fall so we can use it some more!

Great value for the price. The stove works wonderfully well and burns much less wood than my old firepit. The accessories and cover in the bundle helps me protect my stove and help it to last.

I bought it for Hubby's BDay, it really likes it. With the Pine and Juniper we are burning it's not totally smoke free but I think it's from the Juniper wood. This will be well used this summer!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] PLUS: I am grateful for the stainless steel, especially on the spark mesh shield. Other companies do not use stainless steel on the spark shield. Even if one covers a fire pit, if it is outside, it will be exposed to moisture and regular steel spark shields will rust. Then, they get holes and fall apart, and become useless. So, the fact that all of the SolonStove components are stainless steel was a reason to choose over several competitors. SUGGESTIONS: #1. Incorporate handles or an area to grip so fire pit can be moved easily. Really cumbersome to move. #2. The bottom of the Solo Stove needs a lip/groove so that it fits securely on the optional ring. I find the Solo Stove can slide around too much on the ring and aesthetically it is not a good match as it often appears the Solo Stove is unbalanced on the ring.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the Yukon after an evening around the fire with friends who have one. We enjoyed personal pizzas from their pizza oven and s'mores. Since getting our own Yukon, we've enjoyed s'mores half a dozen times and have spent most evenings outside under the stars, rather than watching tv.

I've been thinking about getting a Solo Stove for a while now and finally took the plunge. I'm very pleased, had our first fire and man, what a pleasure it was. No smoke chasing us around while enjoying a nice roaring fire. Kids roasted marshmallows too. Got the bundle with the stand, cover, lid and.shelter, its nice that everything breaks down and stores inside the stove. Highly recommend.
