Solocomb Mane Comb - Standard

This purchase is a replacement for comb just like this one. Not sure if it is a Solocomb brand. It has lasted many years and I often say there is a special place in heaven for the inventor of this device. It works wonderfully and shaves off hours of time. I have not yet used this new one but I know just how well it works from experience.

I love the Solocomb! My mare hates having her mane trimmed by the traditional pulling method (as compared to my gelding who never even noticed I was doing it). This allows me to trim her mane painlessly. It is easy to use and leaves her mane much more natural looking than if I cut it with scissors. I bought this as a replacement for my last Solocomb which finally gave out after years of use.

Hands down, the Solocomb is one of my favorite devices, ever. I have a very sensitive maned gelding, and the Solocomb is the only thing I can use to "tame" his mane...not combs, clippers, scissors...but he will fall asleep while I use the Solocomb on him! This has been a lifesaver for us.

The blades are very easily replaced and the SoloComb is like new! These blades are for the newer model SoloCombs, the silver ones, not the black ones.

I love these replacement blades. Easy to switch & saves money too. My mare won't stand still for traditional mane pulling so this makes our lives much easier!!

I use the SoloComb instead of pulling my horses manes. It is easy to use and the detailed instructions are easy to follow. My horses really appreciate this non painful way of managing their manes. The finished effect is the same as a pulled mane.

It was so easy to replace the blade for my solocomb! Worked really well after the blade was replaced! Will order replacement blades again :)

Although the SoloComb is a great product (I use it all the time for my horse's mane), the blades are very awkward and hard to replace. Instructions are also unclear. I lost one of the screws and had to go to a hardware store to replace, but that particular size screw is not available. Frustrating situation, but would still recommend the main SoloComb product, as it works very well.

I had the older black solo comb and even though I asked if these would work, they did not. On the positive side, the Rep. was so apologetic and understanding that I was not put off at all. So far the SmartPak expereince has been a good one.
