New movie played perfectly
This movie was brand new and still less than most used copies on eBay. I love this movie, I have since it first came out decades ago. Nothing better than good versus evil. The movie played perfectly and I will continue to check pricing on the Walmart site before buying any more DVD's from anywhere else.

Super Quick Delivery
I saw this movie on VHS when I was young. I was talking to a roommate about the book which made me want to see the movie again. I couldn't find it on any streaming platform, so I jumped at the chance to buy it on DVD. It arrived a couple days later. I was very pleased.

It provides a scary story, penned by Ray Bradbury that provides a lesson teaching people to be happy with what has been given them.

One of Bradbury's Best
For whatever reason, Bradbury's works have not always translated all that well to the big or small screen. This movie is an exception. No, it's not as great as the masterpiece novel but it's still very good and captures autumn and October incredibly well. Along with this I recommend The Halloween Tree, which is also narrated by Bradbury himself. Both dvd's should be given a proper blu ray upgrade. But until that time I am still grateful I can watch them on dvd. Highest recommendation.

Classic Disney Adaptation
Ray Bradbury is a great storyteller that deserves to be discovered by younger generations, and this Disney adaptation of one of his excellent short stories is a perfect introduction . The dvd was functional, although it (and the dvd case) feel thinner and cheaper than my original copy of this film which I purchased in the early 1990's. The video quality is also not as good, but completely acceptable.
