This is my first kitchen torch. It does NOT come with butane. I am still trying to figure where to purchase butane and how to fill. There are no detailed instructions in the box.
Works good. It works as well as the one I paid more than twice as much for. I like the option that I can lock it in on position for hands free use. that is necessary for soldering and other tasks. I definitely would recommend. Thank you.
This is an absolutely great torch. Lights instantly, easily fits in your hand, light weight! What more could you want? Bought a different brand in Walmart and it was a disaster...no light...hard to hold...had childproof (adultproof) lock. A mess, so returned. That one makes this one shine!
works great and easy to use
I love it. I use it for the topping when making creme brulee. I have worn out two before. Thanks.
I haven't used it yet because I haven't been painting. But I did fill it and saw that it is working fine. I'm sure it'll pop the bubbles in the paint on my paintings just fine. I just wish there was a way to see how full it is.
I really love my little torch! I was scared to try it but it's just a push button. No more difficult than using a bic lighter, infact easier. And filling it with butane lighter fluid is so easy.
I had a kitchen torch years ago but stopped using it. Lately, I found I needed one again so I purchased this one. It was easy to fill with Butane and it works really well. My only complaint was the package was opened and it looked like it was returned as there were no instructions and the plastic that held it in the box was broken like it was opened. When I biy a NEW product, that is what it should be- NEW.
I think it's going to be great when I learn to use it. You need to offer fuel with the sale and it needs more direction.
Don't waste your money on this, it's a piece of junk. I was excited to get this as I was going to try my hand at making Creme Brulee, I had my attendant fill it with butane and I stupidly I threw the box away). Two weeks later I go to use it and it wouldn't start, you could hear hissing but no fire so I tried over
