This product is awesome. Cleans wheels extremely well Best product on the market for cleaning brake dust and I have tried them all
Great for getting brake dust off wheels. It does have a funky smell, but it does an amazing job!
this stuff really does the job.
Best wheel cleaner I have ever used.
I have used this product in the past and like it. Item was shipped immediately.
I use this wheel cleaner on my black painted wheels. Scrub with a soft bristled wheel brush after letting it dwell and that's all they need. I have used other highly rated wheel cleaners that cost less and they don't do nearly as good a job. This has a permanent spot in my cleaning arsenal, I'm sorry I ever tried anything else. I do wish it came in a slightly larger bottle for the money though, it goes quick!
I have a BMW Z4 and have been convinced that BMW's brake technology is to produce so much brake dust that the wheels can't turn. ;o) All joking aside, I've tried several different brands of wheel cleaners and the Sonax was the best by far. It gets back into the barrel and eliminates all of the dust very effectively. It was very easy to apply and required minimal brushing. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures for this post.
I've used 5 to 6 different kinds of Wheel cleaner. This one is by far the best. Took everything off a very dirty Wheel in 2 applications. This one is by far the easiest and cleanest I've used to clean my truck rims. Key is to leave it on there for about 5 minutes to work and then brush and rinse. You may still require to use a little of the claying the rims on the very old stuff, but overall, cleaned my rims to almost new and little effort.
Bought a used set of aluminum wheels. Barrels looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Tried two different wheel cleaners, solvent, tar remover. No joy. Saw a video on this wheel cleaner. When the reviewer stated he bought 100gal of the product for his detail business after filming the video, I decided to try it. It's not cheap, but it did an amazing job. Put on the first time and let it sit for 10 min. Scrubbed and rinsed. About 90% of buildup removed. Repeated process and all but a few scattered spots were removed. Spot treated a third time and barrels looked nearly new. Still have a few spots of tar that are carbonized onto the aluminum, but once mounted on car they won't show anyway.
But I don't know if it's worth the premium price. I tried it vs standard SONAX wheel cleaner on opposing wheels a couple times, the first time I did no scrubbing, there was a marked difference, but neither one was good enough. Then following week I tried it in the brushless carwash, again, the PLUS side was better, but still not great. Finally I hand washed and used my brushes, both sides were identical, I probably used a little less of the PLUS just because of the sprayers, but I didn't measure.
