Songbird Essentials Bird House Bird Nesting Material Holder, Hummer Helper with Cotton Nesting Materials

No assembly required other than putting the chain and hook on. Easy peasy. It is larger in size than I imagined, but it's as described. the metal cage is sturdy and it is made well. we've had hummingbirds and other birds hitting it for their nests. I'm sure is will last for a long time and it is refillable.

Placed this outside my mother's bedroom window. She enjoys watching the birds gather their nesting materials.

I just put the cage and nesting material out....not sure if it is too early but this is the first time experimenting with it.

Had it up one day and the birds found it. Helping themselves to what they need for their nests !

Hopefully the birds love this for picking their bedding

I just received my Hummer Helper Nesting Material today. There was a mess-up on the shipping so it took a little longer for me to receive it. Not sure if hummingbirds are even nesting now and I have only seen one flying in my yard this year so I will save it til next year.

I was skeptical that the hummingbirds would actually use this--much like when you buy a toy for your dog and he prefers to play with the box it came in. But I placed this near my hummingbird feeders and above my hummingbird garden, and I have actually witnessed them pulling material from it!!! Very exciting.

Ive hung two of these on my porch next to my humming bird feeders and the little guys love it! It such a thrill to have them around i love that this product not only makes them want to come around more but really helps them to have a great nest too!

Looks great. But I havent seen the hummingbirds going to it yet. We havent had good nest building weather though, so Im keeping my fingers crossed :-)
