This is the only alarm that has ever woke me up and kept me up. Its a life saver.

Better than the old one that I had. :)
I had an older Sonic Boom, but it had issues and I just gave up on repairing it every six months or so. This one has some updated features - I chose that blue display, rather than the red. You can turn off the light, which the old one could not. The clock is now battery-powered, whereas the old one was AC dependent but had a battery back-up, which didn't work for me because of the issues I had with it being too old.

Don't buy this clock
It keeps stopping at 12:40 in the morning or afternoon and I constantly have to reset it. It doesn't work right and I feel it's a waste of $35

Don't waste your money
The sonic sound stopped working 2-3 months after I purchased the clock! I am hearing impaired and need the sonic alarm sound to work or I don't wake up. The clock is very disappointing!!!!!!
