[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Sonic Prime Death Egg Playset for my son. He loves this set! It does require some assembly and is overall larger than anticipated. It is a great toy for Sonic fans! It includes a Sonic character that can race around the track.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son considered this an early gift from Santa. He was so excited, he started assembling it himself (he's 8)! The assembly instructions arent very helpful, it's pretty much picture instructions. Luckily it was pretty self explanatory and the package had a clear picture of it. Once assembled you can have sonic slide around the loop and when he lands at the bottom, you press the button and egg man “explodes”. My son thinks it pretty cool and he seems to really enjoy it. He wants it to be battery powered so sonic can loop oh his own but other than that, no complaints! Happy kid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impression this set is a hit with any Sonic fan. It includes the large egg and two figures, Sonic and Dr. Eggman. The egg sphere itself is surprisingly large which makes it easy to play with the figures inside. The instructions for assembly are very vague so it can be a bit tricky to put the egg together. This is definitely for adult assembly only. Once you build the set it is a lot of fun to play with. No batteries required so no electronics, which makes it great for imaginative play. Basically, you can slide the Sonic figure along one of two tracks inside egg, and strike the egg heart to make it "explode". There is also a button you can hit when sonic is underneath Eggman so he can break him. This feature is a bit tricky to get working and definitely takes "skill" to get it just right. This can be frustrating that it doesn't work every time. The concept is cool, the figures themselves and the egg playset are a nice detailed quality. I only gave 3 stars because its not the sturdiest set so the fact that it doesn't always "explode" with you hit the heart, which is basically the main point of the set, is disappointing. Nice display toy though and good for imaginative play.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this Sonic Death egg playset complimentary in return of an honest review. My boys, ages 9, 6 and 2 are Sonic fans and were SUPER excited to get this toy in the mail. We had to put the toy together, but it came together pretty easily (no tools needed.) They played with it for a little bit, but became bored with the track and the Dr Robotnik part and just played around with the Sonic character. They did look for it again first thing the next day and played with it again, but now its just been hanging around untouched. The look is pretty cool with the dome part being Dr Robotniks face and this toy would be a good display for a diehard Sonic fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so first impression after getting this product to review: I did not expect it to be this big! It says 2.5" with a few small figures but this was a huge box with a big set to assemble (see photos). The assembly instructions are completely unclear and are basically just pictures with arrows which made it pretty difficult to put together. My 4 year old enjoys it but it's not an automatic motion toy at all. You have to push Sonic to move him around the track and then push the button to activate the "explosion" when he's under the villain. Underwhelming. You also have to continuously put Sonic back on the track, which my kid can't do themselves so that's my job.. every 10 seconds! It's a good idea for a toy but I think it could have been executed much better.

It only for display , complicated to assemble, needed help, and by the end it's not working.

Never received order. order on December 11 and was suppose to be shipped by December 20. order was cancelled with no explanation on December 23.
