Sonos Arc - Black - Soundbar with Dolby Atmos

As a Hi-Fi nerd the original Sonos Arc is no slouch. If you don’t need the more Arc Ultra to fill an XL room or don’t listen at high volumes the Sonos Arc is more than sufficient. Plus the software on board automatically performs system upgrades via the app. I finally made the switch to give up my outdated but cherished Hi-Fi component AV receiver surround sound system after my amplifier finally bit the dust. I have zero regrets with the switch. Setup was a breeze, the appt is flawless, the aesthetic is clean, the sound exceeded expectations, it seamlessly integrated with my Sony TV, iPhone, Apple Music, and best of all the zones are easily expandable with just AC power through its seamless WiFi connectivity via the Sonos App. Worth the investment.

Had and issue with the ARC. Sonos contacted and figured out the issue very quickly. Sent out a replacement & hooked it back in the system. Everything worked wonderful. Clean crisp sound great tone & bass. The surround sound is fantastic. Can hear the rain drops falling. The depth and clarity of sound is exceptional.

Very cool how the sound spans the room! What I really love about the Arc is the night mode and speech enhancement. That has been a thorn in my side for decades of $$$ spent on home theaters. Sonos sorted it out!!! Game changer for evening TV. It's not that it sounds quit when watching either. Clear voices and reduced booms is AWESOME!!!

I can't imagine not having a complete Sonos surround system in my living room or bedroom! In my opinion the arc is best for larger rooms. An absolute must have! The sound is absolutely amazing! Easy set up THAT STAYS CONNECTED! If you're on the fence go out and BUY IT TODAY!

Bought the Sub Gen3 with the Arc smart sound bar. Our family movie nights were superb bass cinematic and lifelike surround sound movie theatre experience overall. Music listening, sound is high level quality but missing mid range sound and bass from Arc sound bar. TV sound is alright with Arc sound bar, not match excitement but a level up sound experience as it is missing mid range sound and bass. Sub is in the standby mode in the background when watching TV until bass is needed. I was expecting that both Arc and Sub would have a holistic sound approach, but, this is something Sonos can surely improve on.. Overall, I'm blown away with my Sonos Arc & Sub sound system. I'm planning to add rear speakers for more elevated sound experience!! ??? Which one??!!

I upgraded to arc from beam to experience Dolby Atmos via eArc. So either the Atmos format is over hyped as a marketing gimmick or the Sonos Arc is not doing a good job at immersive sound. The biggest complaint though is that the paired surrounds play1 speaker completely over shadow dialogue delivery from Arc with music effects even after optimally setting surround levels to min .

It took us hours to hook it up and required a live person to help. Finally - great sound. But woops, our remote controllers fought with each other and soon we had no sound again! Al the instructions kept asking us to reboot our router and the messages on line said someone would be available to talk to us - but no - not true. The software is seriously messed up. And to make it worse, the power cord was so loose, it kept falling out. Finally a customer service person told us to return it. We have no faith in trying another one. At least, they could have a manual to access on line.
