Sony 1080p DVD Player with Progressive Scan, DVPSR510H

I needed to replace a Sony CD Changer that finally gave out after having it for many years, many years. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on another CD Changer so I went with this player. Granted it doesn't have all the features my changer did but it does what I need it to do and that's okay my beloved CDs.

I just wanted a good basic DVD player. I found one in this Sony. Just the fact that it comes with a full size, easy to use remote is a blessing. And I can control certain functions of my Sony TV with this remote. Set up was very easy. Compact, sleek design makes it easy to place.

I bought this dvd player because my old one stopped playing great purchase sleek and just the right size on my table. Great purchase. Beautiful picture and easy to operate.

I recently bought this as a replacement DVD player. So far I'm very happy with I. In addition to its great performance I like is small footprint in my living room.

I own a DVD player and wanted another just like it. I am hsppy.

I AM NOT AN EXPERIENCED ELECTRONICS DUDE, I'M A USER ONLY. I COULDN'T READ THE INSTRUCTIONS IN A MONTH, A 24 X 20 SHEET CHOCK FULL OF INSTRUCTIONS THAT SO FAR HAVEN'T HELPED ME GET THE DVD TO RESPOND, EXCEPT FOR THE YELLOW LIGHT THAT COMES ON WHEN I HIT THE POWER BUTTON AND THE OPEN/CLOSE BUTTON. WHERE CAN I FIND INSTRUCTIONS THAT USE LAYMAN LANGUAGE STEP 1,2,3 ETC TO GET THIS THING WORKING?

Bought it some months ago and it played the DVD I put in but would not eject. Sony tech attempted to help but was not helpful. Suggested I send it in or take it back to where I bought it. Well it still had my DVD stuck in it. The DVD is one of my all time favorites, so, cant get player replaced when still can't get DVD out even though I attempt it every now and then. Perfect Catch 22. Don't take a chance on buying it unless you don't mind losing your DVD I could break it open and just take the loss of the player but hope one day it will function.

Bought this to ease the use of my VCR/DVD recorder. It only plays DVD+RW and not DVD+R. THE DESCRIPTION STATED PLAYS DVD+RW DVD+R DVD-RW DVD-R IN ONE CASE IT ACTUALLY CAUSE ONE RECORDED MOVIE TO NOT WORK IN THE DVD RECORDER. i THOUGHT SONY WOULD HAVE A BETTER PRODUCT BUT i WAS WRONG. I'LL KEEP IT TIL IT BREAKS THEN I'LL REPLACE IT WITH A DIFFERENT BRAND.It also does noes not have a code for Hisense tv.
