Great TV with a fast interface and premium-feeling remote! I'm coming from a R*ku LCD TV and this is definitely a massive step up in picture quality. I'm very happy with this purchase.
The TV is phenomenal. Amazing color and contrast that I've never seen better anywhere else. The brightness is very bright (unlike what others have reported) in vivid mode. However, in my opinion intense brightness takes away from the overall balance. I'm just fine using the cinematic mode and have grown more accustomed to having that balance rather than a high peak brightness. In my opinion, color accuracy is where it's at and this is the best TV for that. Gaming on the PS5 looks absolutely crisp, clean, and pure. I can't get over how good games look and perform on this TV. The motion in games is extremely smooth. The picture is outstanding and it takes gaming to a whole new level of immersion. You have to see it to believe it. This is a Master class TV and it shows. You literally get what you pay for and I highly recommend it. You just can't go wrong.
Beautiful picture, well worth the money! Sony is the best!
After 15yrs of Pioneer Plasma the colors on this tv are spectacular right out of the box. I did not get it calibrated and running it in cinema mode it looks perfect. They say it takes about 100/125 hrs for the colors to settle in and get better and i'm only at 50. This tv is expensive but soooo worth it.
This tv is absolutely beautiful in every way. The picture, design of this tv is by far the best picture I've ever seen. There's a good reason this tv was voted as the best or 2022. I was hoping I was making a mistake spending as much money as I did on this. But I feel as every penny spent was worth it. Thank you Sony for designing this amazing television. Kevin
I've owned this TV for a few weeks now and it is my first OLED. I can't believe how much better this is than my LED. I researched for months and months before buying this, and it was hard to pull the trigger on the price, but it is so worth the spectacular picture quality. The speakers being in the screen is perfect for me as I don't use a sound bar. I did adjust a few settings after watching a few utube video's and I can't say enough about the phenomenal picture quality. I watch a lot of movies and I'm truly blown away. The quality of the build is solid, not cheap or flimsy. Well worth the higher price if you want the best visuals of any brand.
I really had no desire to upgrade my tv, but a few visits to a local retailer, and seeing the new 4k tv's, led me to start researching what the best tv available was. A lot of reviewers rated the Sony A95K as the best, or close to it. I have had, for years, and prefer Sony tv's, so it made sense to start my research with what was the top-of-the line Sony at this time. What convinced me to go ahead and buy, was the new technology Sony came up with for the built-in tv sound. Too many of the very thin tv's have very poor and thin sound. I have no desire to get a sound bar, and listen to the tv's built-in sound 90% of the time, and only put the sound through my stereo for movies and sports, with a glass fiber optic cable. Putting the speakers behind the display, and two subwoofers on the back sounds wonderful. The picture is the best I've ever seen. The Super Bowl looked like I was there. The colors are very natural, and not over-the-top, like other tv's. I recommend the A95K to anyone, and think it is the best you can buy, for a 65 inch tv.
Everyting about this TV is perfect except for two problems I have. #1 is the fact that Dolby Vision and VRR are mutually exclusive to individual HDMI ports. #2 is that while using the PS5 in VRR mode, the black levels have a noticeable flickering effect and I have to turn down the black level to make it less obvious and have to crush black levels by doing so. I hope to see these issues be addressed in future firmware updates.
I love everything about this TV, sound, picture, remote, etc. The Google TV operating system needs work. It is slow, bloated and not able to be changed to anything better. I recommend this TV without reservation but most will want a streaming device to use with it.
The picture is wonderful. My only issue is it recommends resuming movies that I've never watched. I tried to change my password online and it's a maze.
