I've never owned a Sony Tv. I did a lot of research and it all came down to a good family tv that was from a reputable brand and had all the features we need to enjoy some nice family movies and shows. Since we got it, it hasn't disappointed. From now on we will be purchasing more Sony electronics.
I'm so in love with the picture quality, clarity and stunning colors. Wow!! Amazing, is what everyone says when they are watch movie and even plain cable. My brother went out the same day and purchased him a Sony just like mines. I was at my friends house and that's what made me purchase my first SONY TV. I'm a SONY TV MAN FOR LIFE. Recommendation. 1) Please use the best/ certified 4K HDMI cable. spend the extra money and you will see an AMAZING PICTURE QUALITY. 2) Read your manuals. There are some good things to make the TV even more vibrant and stunning. 3)While you are purchasing your first SONY like I did, matter as well purchase you Sony surrounding sounds system. The TV speakers are good stuff. But with the Sony surrounding sounds set. Like is great. Thank you Sony.
Sony Model KD-65X750H TV. This has to be the best of the best packaging I have ever encountered in my life for a large product! Set was easy to do and easy to understand and easy to connect to my WiFi.
Spent awhile debating which brand to get for our next TV upgrade and I'm really glad we chose Sony. The 4K resolution is perfect and the size is just right for our wall. I'm pleasantly surprised out how smart the TV is after setting it up with the wifi and Goggle Home Assistant in our house. After everything was hooked up and tested and a few visual adjustments it was more than what we hoped for. All the apps and Playstation communicate well with the exception of Hulu bugging out from time to time but if you look across multiple brand reviews you'll notice it's a Hulu bug not the product 9 times out of 10.
The TV has a nice sharp picture, it's a little dim when viewed from the side but that's normal for LCD screens. It has netflix and other apps, I can't get the app for redbox to work but that might not be a problem with the TV itself. It works good with my cable but I still need the cable remote to change channels. The sony remote has rather small buttons and I'm afraid the lettering will wear off. Over all though I am happy with the TV for the price it is a good deal.
After some research, I decided on this model for reported picture quality etc. After set up, some of the picture quality was not what I expected, particularly darker scenes, blacks were very splotchy and distorted. I did change the HDMI input setting to higher setting and it seemed to help. Questioned retailer and basically was told this is a low end model and is what it is. Guess I should have done more research.
I know 750 is entry level so picture quality I can't ask for much, it's a great value for that. However, the basic UI is not stable and constantly jumps to home screen without reason. I may have a lemon but I've heard similar stories of those I know that has Sony TVs. Also, this tv doesn't support Disney+ nor Bluetooth audio output, just beware
We had trouble with jerky picture. Bought a new HDMI cable, which made it somewhat better. We have had it for 6 weeks now, and twice the sound has come on and picture has not. Connected our old tv and that worked fine, so it was not cable or cable box. We had to unplug TV and let sit for 15 min and then picture came back up. Then TV had to go thru reboot. A 20 minute process to get TV working. One time I was trying to watch in the 15 minutes I have before work, so no TV. Next time I was trying to catch a story on the news. Missed it.
i bought this TV thinking i was buying a high end product dont bother i also bought sony sound bar thinking i could hook up via blue tooth just told by sony rep it is not possible. Very disapointed
Constant issues with this tv. Horrible quality, sound issues, input problems, screen pixelating, fixed 2 times within a year, wont give me a refund. NEVER AGAIN
