Sony 65" Class 4K UHD OLED Android Smart TV HDR Bravia A8H Series XBR65A8H

I researched buying an OLED TV for months and after reading reviews, watching videos and thinking about what I wanted out of a premium OLED UHDTV, Sony's XBR65A8H 65 inch 4K Smart OLED UHDTV with Android TV Pie, HDR and Dolby Vision ended up being my pick and so far I am very pleased with it. The picture and sound quality are outstanding. 4K and HD Blu-rays, Streaming and OTA local broadcast TV look outstanding. Going for a minimalist look, I have opted not to buy a soundbar or home theater system because I want anyone who comes into my home to focus on the TV and the sound produced by this TV is good enough to please many consumers with the speakers located behind the screen and subwoofer in the back. Sony's picture processing is top shelf too and the Android TV PIE operating system is buttery snooze and easy to havigate. Airplay and Chromecast work effortlessly as well. I only wish the Apple TV Plus App was included too. The TV is elegant and understated and simply beautiful. I did not buy this for gaming. I bought this to watch movies and television and it excels in these regards and more. I highly recommend it. Thank you.

Bedroom TV upgrade. Very happy with it so far but I would prefer a written manual over the onscreen help menu.

I've had it for a couple of weeks and am constantly amazed by the picture quality. I don't use the tv speakers so I can't review the sound. Setup was easy. A bit pricey but if you want a top line picture- a no brainer

We have own a Sony TV since 2008. At that time it was a top of art version. We loved its relatively and picture. It still works today! However we fell in love with OLED technology and wanted a slightly larger TV. Our new tv picture is as beautiful as we expected, what surprised us was the sound! Our old tv was connected to a Bose sound bar and subwoofer and the sound was good, but when we connected the new TV to it, it was as if we had upgraded our sound system too! We will continue to be Sony tv super fans.

I bought the A8H 65” a month ago and absolutely love it. The picture is excellent with perfect blacks. Native apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime, etc work flawlessly. This is my first oled tv and they are more expensive, but the Sony is well worth it. Compared it with the LG and I found the picture superior on the Sony, probably due to its processor. I would highly recommend the TV. I use it with a sound bar (which I would recommend) so I can't really comment on the sound.

After researching and chasing the best TV on the market, I am pleased to purchase indeed THE BEST!! If you want the ultimate movie theater experience in your home, with mind-blowing picture/audio combo, this is the TV for you!! This TV will spoil your eyes and ears to look at only OLED and nothing else!! Trust me and do not think further!!

I have been an avid home theater buff for years and for the first time I have a TV that is beyond excellent. The TV is almost intuitive when switching from inputs and the picture is fantastic.

I have had time now to set up the TV with my Surround system. I love the Pic on the OLED. Everything works great. As I read, there is a transition time when switching from 1 media to another. Great Picture and very good sound. Easy to set up and the remote, although simple, works great.

There are so many bugs in the operating system there isn't enough room to write them down. I'll list some of the major issues. Every couple of days I have to unplug the tv to recover after it hangs. The tv channel banner gets stuck all the time. Streaming movies buffer all the time. I realize there could be many external reasons for this, but I don't see any issues with my ISP or WiFi. What I don't understand is why there are so few Sony updates. The computer hardware is overwhelmed.
