Sony 65" Class 4K UHD OLED Android Smart TV HDR Bravia A8H Series XBR65A8H

Bought this because of the IMAX Enhanced certification and it is better than anticipated!! Sony should market the IMAX logo, had to research to find an IMAX Enhanced anything, first I found on display happened to be this 65 inch model. The screen is sleek, slim, best of best! Very impressive!!

After researching and chasing the best TV on the market, I am pleased to purchase indeed THE BEST!! If you want the ultimate movie theater experience in your home, with mind-blowing picture/audio combo, this is the TV for you!! This TV will spoil your eyes and ears to look at only OLED and nothing else!! Trust me and do not think further!!

We have own a Sony TV since 2008. At that time it was a top of art version. We loved its relatively and picture. It still works today! However we fell in love with OLED technology and wanted a slightly larger TV. Our new tv picture is as beautiful as we expected, what surprised us was the sound! Our old tv was connected to a Bose sound bar and subwoofer and the sound was good, but when we connected the new TV to it, it was as if we had upgraded our sound system too! We will continue to be Sony tv super fans.

My Sony A8H 55 inches has everything you need in a TV to really enjoy it, but it is advisable to dedicate yourself to knowing about Oled technology from well-informed sources in advance of purchase, (I do not mean those who are have dedicated to instilling fears, taking as examples the problems that some Oled panels presented when they were just beginning to come out in 2015), please do not forget that we are already in 2020 and new Oled TVs are increasingly manufacturing them with better systems protection, also bring a perfect factory calibration. But in my experience I would advise you to lower the Brightness (Standard 35) (Dolby Vision 20) for incredible image quality and without putting your Oled panel at risk. This television is more than you can imagine. The speakers sound like a full surround sound system, the image clarity is amazing, no lip sync problem and perfect 4K UHD playback.

I bought the A8H 65” a month ago and absolutely love it. The picture is excellent with perfect blacks. Native apps such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime, etc work flawlessly. This is my first oled tv and they are more expensive, but the Sony is well worth it. Compared it with the LG and I found the picture superior on the Sony, probably due to its processor. I would highly recommend the TV. I use it with a sound bar (which I would recommend) so I can't really comment on the sound.

I have been an avid home theater buff for years and for the first time I have a TV that is beyond excellent. The TV is almost intuitive when switching from inputs and the picture is fantastic.

I have had this TV for about a month. I am very happy with it so far. I just hope I don't have the motherboard problems with this set that I had with the previous Sony which was barely 2 years old.

I have had time now to set up the TV with my Surround system. I love the Pic on the OLED. Everything works great. As I read, there is a transition time when switching from 1 media to another. Great Picture and very good sound. Easy to set up and the remote, although simple, works great.

There are so many bugs in the operating system there isn't enough room to write them down. I'll list some of the major issues. Every couple of days I have to unplug the tv to recover after it hangs. The tv channel banner gets stuck all the time. Streaming movies buffer all the time. I realize there could be many external reasons for this, but I don't see any issues with my ISP or WiFi. What I don't understand is why there are so few Sony updates. The computer hardware is overwhelmed.

The TV set keeps shutting itself off without anyone pressing any buttons. It also switches input channels on its own will. The software shows as "up to date".
