I bought this during Black Friday sale for a teally good price and the quality justifies the price of this TV. It is really bright for an OLED. So far no problems whatsoever and it is fairly calibrated out of the box without even making much tweaks with the settings.
I bought this SONY Bravia TV to replace a couple of disappointing sets I had bought, other brands, of course. SONY is definitely THE BEST. The picture quality is wonderful, the sound amazing (when using the TV as the centre speaker via your amplifier) and the build-quality is excellent too. Perhaps the only issue I would raise is that sometimes you lose the sound in some HD channels, but the fix to get the sound back is to simply change to another channel and then back to the channel you wanted and sound is back. A bug SONY could fix?
Beautiful picture, well worth the money! Sony is the best!
Great tv with fantastic colours and pretty good audio. I do wish there were other options for the stand. It is annoying because you cannot use it with a soundbar
Great picture, simple enough to use. Remote is too small and easily lost and no numbers makes it harder to pick a channel. Needs more then one e-arc input.
We did our research and spent a lot of time deciding on which TV and chose the top of the line Sony. It was delivered on Monday putting it together that afternoon late. We watched TV alright that night. I spent the Tuesday trying to log into Sony and register. I turned the TV on that afternoon, only to have it die about one hour later. I have looked up all the details I could find online to solve the problems. I get a black screen with a red light flashing four times. I cannot get it to reset/restart and stay on. Eventually I managed to do a default reset but cannot get passed the country settings when it dies. I cannot update as it will not stay turned on. I have only seen ordinary TV for about six hours in total. I did not have time to get online at all so just kept to simple TV viewing until I understand things better. Luckily we got a replacement delivered straight away. Setup this time much easier and NO problems at all. Spoken voice is still hard sometimes but picture is very pleasing and super sharp. A universal remote helped but understand the new Sony control with the online things now. Happy we went with the 65" and still pleased with the purchase a year later
I love everything about this TV, sound, picture, remote, etc. The Google TV operating system needs work. It is slow, bloated and not able to be changed to anything better. I recommend this TV without reservation but most will want a streaming device to use with it.
Subtilties for free to air TV are way too large. Unable to figure out how to reduce the size. frustrating. Pointless functionality of "Favorites FTA channel List". i should just be able to setup favorites list and then use the ch up/dn button to scroll trough the preset list. TV seems to switch back to the "Digital" list of all FTA channels. Also frustrating.
The picture is wonderful. My only issue is it recommends resuming movies that I've never watched. I tried to change my password online and it's a maze.
Just received mine today. After many power cycles, this tv will not turn on. The left side of the screen flickers color for a second with a loud mechanical click. Then the standby flashes red.
