Beautiful picture, well worth the money! Sony is the best!
As soon as I walked into my retail store, I instantly knew which one was the A95K from two isles away! This set is absolutely stunning. If you're looking for the best picture quality of 2022, this is it. I've compared it side by side with other brand's flagship tv's and the color accuracy (out of the box), video processing, and overall picture is the best imo. Gaming on PS5 and XSX is stunning as well.
After 15yrs of Pioneer Plasma the colors on this tv are spectacular right out of the box. I did not get it calibrated and running it in cinema mode it looks perfect. They say it takes about 100/125 hrs for the colors to settle in and get better and i'm only at 50. This tv is expensive but soooo worth it.
I've never purchased a Sony TV. I was a plasma guy and then an OLED guy. Those TVs were great. But this TV is the best tv I have ever watched. The sound integration was what sold me at the end. I have a Sony surround system that works perfectly with this TV. I also realized how poorly the other competitors were built. Some don't come with a stand... Best decision I've ever made for a TV.
I know another company makes the QD-OLED panel itself, but the Sony build and post processing is amazing. My only regret is that this is not available in anything larger than a 65 inch currently. Otherwise, the picture quality and features are astounding!
I love everything about this TV, sound, picture, remote, etc. The Google TV operating system needs work. It is slow, bloated and not able to be changed to anything better. I recommend this TV without reservation but most will want a streaming device to use with it.
This set replaced a 12 year old Vizio that was having issues with its HDMI and network interfaces. The Sony has excellent color rendition and controls motion very nicely but has issues in our somewhat well-lit family room. Reflections are fairly pronounced during the day even with the shutters mostly closed. There is also a very faint, vertical "banding" effect that is mostly evident when watching something with a mainly fixed color background (like the greens on a golf course). We returned the first set because of this but the replacement set demonstrates the same artifacts. Seems to be something we will have to live with. Other than that, we probably should have waited for prices to drop on the mini-led version and opted for that.
Mixed performance with audio poor compatibility with Sonys own internal products. Paired with a high end Sony sound bar the two pieces often do not talk to each other and turn on/off. The TV remote can't turn TV on consistently, picture quality is fine enough but not worth the price tag consider the poor user experience. You have to TURN ON HDMI high capacity settings it's not default and this feature is buried in the sub menus.
Picture is great, but the TV locks up.......LOTS. the sound sometimes doesn't work, and it constantly make you reset your password. Thus is my 2nd because the 1st one broke with a green line through the pic after 2 months. Warrantied out, and this one locks up more then my windows 95 computer. Need to unplug it to reset it. Do not recommend a purchase.
I Was really happy when i bougth this tv it was amazing,....but it broke after 4 months(began to turn off 2 seconds after turning on) I can't believe that a $1,200 well-known brand TV lasts so little(already expend $150dlls on a new motherboard and is doing the same)i'm switching to hisense
