I originally purchased this TV because it has direct LED light which means the LEDs are directly behind the screen instead of being directionally shown from the bottom up which honestly sold me on the TV's technology.. there are a multitude of options that if you wish you can engage and experiment with. I find that the Dolby vision and the Dolby Atmos are too key elements that allow you to be immersed into what you are viewing. I have the 55-in model and a bedroom with a higher-end polk audio sound bar and from old movies to new movies with Dolby vision and Dolby Atmos every viewing experience is quite impressive. The 240 hz adaptive refresh technology is quite renowned when experiencing football games or high action films it flawlessly engages and disengages on the fly never while never noticing it. In closing once all the movie applications like Hulu and peacock and Netflix catch up with technology and All utilize true Dolby vision and true Dolby Atmos I believe it will change the industry but for now there are a lot of apps that are having problems and that is unfortunate for them.
I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase of the Sony TV KD65X80K! The picture quality is stunning, and the setup was simple. The colors are vibrant, and the clarity is exceptional, just as I had hoped. It has truly enhanced my viewing experience, and I'm very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality TV!

Its been a week and we are very happy . Still tweaking the picture from time to time for our room but we love the tv. HDR mode has been confusing and now I'm having picture/ sound issues with my soundbar connected by bluetooth but we'll get worked out. The remote is comfortable and easy to use.
Very nice and adaptable Sony TV. It was very easy to setup and use. I like that the TV suggest color adjustments for the best picture. I like the new remote style, and how I can use it with multiple media controllers (TV, Direct TV, Blue-Ray, etc.). It is not one of the premium TVs that come with the free Bravo Online viewing, and other bells and whistles, but for the money you can't go wrong with this Sony TV.
I am OK with everything but very disappointed because no manual instruction book. I don't know what are the ports behind TV for?
TV Automatically controls itself and does not turn on and keeps restarting and does not even provide settings to find the reset.
Tv keeps freezing, literally 3-4 months after using freezing and won't turn off unless you unplug it, can't get sony to respond for it's manufactured warranty
The TV was damaged upon arrival on 3/5/24 Returned on 3/8. Have talked to many customer people and I have not received a refund. I got so many different conflicting answers. The lady lady said it would be scanned in that night and with in 3 days I would receive a refund back on affirmative action account. This is very poor service. I canceled the replacement tv. I did it online and told each person that I had cancelled and did not want to take the chance that another tv would arrive damaged. End of my ordering products from Walmart online. Walmart needs to do better.
