Great pricing: I did some research from several sources using YouTube (and other internet sites) before buying this TV. Most reviews were positive (with only a few pros vs. cons). Most of the cons don't apply to me. For instance, the off-axis viewing angle(s) doesn't affect me one bit as I live in a very small apartment...Since I'm not a "gamer", the E/ARC port is all I need for my soundbar, so no issue with the port layout. This 65" replacement for my previous 55" XR-55 isn't that much bigger, so as to take up more space. This newer Bravia has a much better picture. The processor is the same one used in the Bravia 9 (which I could not afford). So, if you're thinking about getting a new Sony for a small apartment--this is THE ONE! I'm very happy with my purchase; I highly recommend this unit!!!
where do I begin my wife and I wanted a new tv it's been years since we got one for the living room and I had my old Vizio in the bed room and we needed a new one so I looked into new tvs that are good for watching movies and tv shows and to play my ps5 I'd looked into the Sony Bravia and I knew I wanted one from all the research I did for weeks and I got the Bravia 7 wanted the 8 for the oled because we looked at the 5 in person and my wife liked the 7 and 8 so I have to get what the wife wants lol. Long story short I got the 7 and she enjoyed every minute of it so much that I'm a fan for life and when the tv goes in the living I will only be getting a Bravia.
Bought this new TV yesterday. I wish setting it up was as easy as purchasing it. My husband has a hard time seeing and needed a brighter screen.
This Bravia 7 is hard to describe. It rplaces a a 12 year old Samsung. I thought there would be a big difference but this was huge! My whole family thinks the Bravia 7 was a gerat buy. The picture is great and the up scaling from DVD is very good.. Now I see a new blu-ray player in the near future. The Bravia is setup with a Yamaha sound bar (earc), after resetting the sound bar to factory settings it connected with out a glitch and the sound quality is excellent.
Exceptional. Quality of picture and sound. Our first Sony TV since tube. What a difference from other brands we've owned.
Have only had the unit 3 days, but very impressed already!! Set up was very simple. The picture is sharp and beautiful, and the sound so authentic. Looking forward to seeing our favourite moves and sports on this unit!! Very pleased with the Bravia 7.
The TV is wonderful. Amazing picture comma really good sound from the built-in speakers, beautiful build quality absolutely first class. My only complaint is not actually with Sony, it's with Rogers cable in Canada. They won't seem to allow the Sony remote to change the channels. It can do everything else, make fine adjustments of contrast, they just won't let it do the channels. They want you to use theirs. I wish Sony would use their might to put the boots to these guys, arguably The worst Internet and television service on planet Earth. And probably the most expensive. As far as TV goes, though, it's always been tough to beat Sony, and I think it still is.
I've had 75" Bravia 7 for almost 2 months and it has been absolutely stunning. The best TV I've ever owned. I worked in television production for a local PBS station and I know what good television images are supposed to look like. This is it. Beautiful 4 k video and excellent upscaling of standard definition video also. I couldn't be happier!
Had this TV for 2 Weeks and am very disappointed in the audio. I have spent a lot of time trying to get it right. The audio level changes within a program and from program to program. The audio sound changed also, from a soft mushy to also sounding like the audio is coming through a pipe. I also purchased a Sony sound bar which does not help. The picture is great though!
Product arrived with a cracked screen. Not sure if Walmart's or third party freight company's fault. Walmart scheduled the same company to pick it up and issue a refund.
