Order number 2000131-29458179 My experience with buying a TV with walmart.com was absolutely horrible and extremely inconvenient. I ordered brand new 85-in Sony 120Hz TV that was originally $2,300 and was now on sale for $1,300 The first TV I received had a damaged screen so I called walmart.com customer service, I was told that they can only issue a refund and not replace it After talking with three separate walmart.com customer service employees on three different phone calls, I was able to get them to send me a replacement After repackaging the TV myself, it was then picked up 2 weeks later and I had no TV for a month after spending money and time I had a wall mount installed that just sat on my wall for for a month Then I received my replacement TV, the box was extremely damaged and when I opened it up the bottom left corner of the TV was completely crushed due to poor handling and it should have never been allowed to go out with the box being that damaged before reaching a customer I immediately called walmart.com customer service where I was told that they're sorry for my inconvenience but they cannot send a replacement out and can only return the item and give me 5% off of my next TV purchase with Walmart and a $25 voucher I was told by customer service representative supervisor Michael that there's only allowed one replacement per item and the best they could do for me is 5% off of my next TV purchase with them and a $25 voucher and offered no other resolution and refused to let me speak to a supervisor higher than him This was extremely insulting because of the extreme inconvenience it had caused me with time and finances I'm a single father who took a total of three days off on a Tuesday in order to be present for pickup and delivery, I lost three days of work and hundreds of dollars to be given a resolution that is unacceptable and extremely insulting Now I have to take a fourth Tuesday off for a pickup return on the 18th where I have to unhang the TV again off of a wall mount and package it myself As somebody who prides himself in guests service with retail and hospitality, I am extremely insulted and disappointed with the way this situation was handled I will now have no TV and just 5% off and a $25 voucher towards another TV from Walmart which is an absolute joke after my extreme inconvenience of my schedule and finances The Sony 85-in 120 HZ that I ordered was originally $2,300 and I spent $1,300 so the money I am getting back can only be used for a lesser TV with 60 HZ Which means if I wanted the same quality Sony 85-in 120 HZ TV from walmart.com. I would have to spend over $700 more out of pocket and that's including the 5% $25 off voucher because the only Sony 85in 120HZ TV available is $2,100 This is the worst customer service experience and resolution I have ever had I deserve another TV and the problem resolved I do not recommend ever using walmart.com for this type of service

Trashed after 2 years

unhappyemoji4Sony September 17, 2024

I bought a Sony Bravia KD-85X85K in August of 2024. Overall I was pretty happy with it until Sept 2024 rolled in and I started losing audio on the internal TV speakers. I followed every troubleshooting step to resolve the issue, removed all external connections and reset it to factory default to no avail. I decided to run audio through eArc to my home theater system for a little over a week and surprisingly, the internal speaker miraculously started working. Today, the audio just faded and started to get staic sound. Restarted, cold boooted. to no avail. checked for system updates which it found. After completing the system update. The system still had no audio and it just started shutting down within minutes, the the LED blinks 3 times. Did my research and it appears it is indicative of a system board issue. Basically. it's toast!! I saw quite a bit of community posts with the same experiences. Really disappointed for a Sony product that only lasts 2 years. I still have my Samsung and Sharp 1st generation LCD TVs in 1080P working with no issues.
