Sony 85" Class XR85X95J BRAVIA XR Full Array LED 4K Ultra HD Smart Google TV with Dolby Vision HDR X95J Series 2021 Model

I bought this for the football season so I could watch 2 games side by side with a clear image. I got more than I thought I would. The PIP is outstanding and the clarity is amazing.

There's no going back to any other brand after owning this tv. I've had it for 2 years now and it's still better than any other tv I've purchased previously or since (for my kids). There's just no competition when it's comes to SONY. It was worth paying every cent!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this around month ago after comparing TVs on market. came really close on choosing Samsung but as soon as comparing picture and sound quality on standard mode. my choice became easier. it was on Sony. Skin tones were natural while Samsung had red tint effect. also sound is pretty impressive for a loving hall. no need to buy extra sound bar for day today movie entertainment

I bought the 85" X85J after my Samsung 9000 series backlight started to go. I found the X85J a far superior TV with blacker blacks and much sharper than my 75" Samsung. I would definitely recommend this TV. The Google TV feature is particularly easy to use compared to older Sony Smart TVs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lots of thought went into my decision another OLED or latest LCD, my main concern was screen burn in and once I read the specs of the X95J confirmed my choice. I have two issues which are intermittent but still annoying number 1 blooming even on a dark static background and number 2 WIFI isn't stable. TV software is regularly updated now supports VRR.

I purchased this a month ago n great tv but Audio not up to par I mean it has 4 speakers n Sony raves about it adjust to room n great sound Not as good as you'd expect on normal talking some distortion sounds like in a cave n tunnel loud or action great but listening to news not so much, one reason I purchased was for 4 speaker sound n excellent picture ,I'd rate it at 90%

The 85" X95J is an impressive TV, but I am not sure it is worth the premium over lesser Sony and competitor models. It runs Android OS so it integrates well with Google Home and Google Assistant. The picture quality isn't bad, but the set is a little dim unless you pump up the brightness.

Several features on this TV don't function. To name a few: You can't set a timer using the guide to watch a TV show. Can't use voice to set a sleep timer. Voice commands won't set volume levels. If you use a wired internet connect the TV loses almost all functions. It must be connected to your phone by Wi-Fi. My wired internet connection is much faster than Wi-Fi but I lose a lot of features. Hopefully there will be an update or patch to fix these issues. I could have bought a TV half the price with more features. Very Disappointing!!!

I bought this product almost 2 years ago. It's worked ok but has some warnings coming up about needing more storage space. I needed to restart the tv many times and eventually was able to update the software which took many attempts. Seems to be running ok now. Hopefully it stays that way.
